Like a lot of us, I expected Ojomo's snaps to increase along with Davis and a rookie (Robinson) to replace Milton Williams. If Ojomo is doing well in camp, that's a good sign.

What’s up, guys? I’ve been quiet on here lately. The truth is, I’ve been going through a rough stretch with my mental health. I wasn’t sure whether to say anything, but with June being Men’s Mental He

Hard for me to get too excited about WRs who perform well in camp. Historically hasn't meant much

If DeJean plays safety it's going to ruin that song they did last year "Cooper DeJean is not a safety." 🤣

Ouch! That’s a blow to my argument.😧

You're not thinking clearly. Walsh was asked why he moved Lott. He covers half the field at corner, Bill, why move him? To which Walsh replied, so he can cover the whole field.

Yeah but it's not just about coverage.

I did not mean to be insulting. Think of DeJean’s two big splash plays - running down Chase in motion to his left and his tackle of Henry to his right. Those were plays a great safety makes. He’s damn good in coverage but Mitchell is better but Mitchell is a sticky defender, not a read and react run support guy, although he’s good at those things. Slot corner is something of a hybrid safety. DeJean has shown he can play it but I think he’s shown he can do more. The only thing that will keep him from full time safety is if we don’t have another guy who can play slot corner. If that’s the case, we’re in full agreement.

I think those plays gain more yards if cooper is lined up deeper at S and someone else is closest in coverage. He is great right where he is.

You are making the case for him at S. Ronnie was more than just coverage

I don't think DeJean will have a position, and usually they say that's bad. Q is CB1, but DeJean is DB1 where he basically plays anywhere else Q isn't. DeJean played nickel at a very high level and going off of camp reporters, it sounds like he adapted to safety in training camp very quickly. This kid is just an athlete and has an incredibly high football IQ. He's a chess piece they can move to different positions depending on the opponent, he won't be 100% full time in a single position like last year.

Fran Duffy trying to kiss Bo's aas during their emergency pod last night talking about how if Booker was given a heads up on the trade and Fran was like 'Yeah I'm sure he didn't find out about it on bluesky."

Yeah, nobody found out about the trade on there. No one finds out about anything on there.

Kempski is gushing over Mondon. Thinks he’s been the best LB in camp. Said he can cover and is physical and blows plays up.

I'm not dismissing the possibility that rather than Howie calling around for CBs, Vegas was looking for a DT and offering Bennette to get one.

My guess is, the Raiders have two of our previous front office guys that were both here when we had scouted Bennette. Siri said today he was someone they liked. So the Raiders phoned us knowing we already liked him plus they already know Booker as well. They really needed a DT.

The pick 6 in the Super Bowl was pretty 'splash' in my book.

How soon we forget the unstoppable Paul Turner!

Potentially no Parsons for opener.

I trust Fangio. DeJean will be on the field making plays wherever he lines up.

Let’s not get ahead of ourselves. We should check if ESP agrees first.

For as much as Jerry Jones claims to be a businessman, he should know if it’s not in writing, then there is no deal.

He’s picking the dumbest thing to get hung up on and be stubborn about.

Is there ever going to be situation where they're using smelling salts and the person isn't going directly into concussion protocol?

Takes me back. Joe Namath got knocked cold against Denver; I mean out. Came to, said to Weeb Ewbank, let me throw deep. They’ll never expect it. Stayed in, threw deep, TD. Now he sells insurance.

Kempski thinks Brown will be starting at safety week 1. I really hope he isn’t. I don’t think he can play. Still annoyed they got rid of CJGJ. 14 INTs the two seasons with the Eagles is going to be hard to replace. I hope Mukuba can get back and earn that spot.

If it's for $40m a year and a big bag guaranteed, then they are probably good to go.

But to the surprise of no one, it will come out that Jerry thinks his offer of less than $40m a year and no guarantee on a handshake was a done deal.

Mukuba will earn it. But with all the time he has missed, we shouldnt expect him to be there week 1.

Will Steen play in preseason? Dotson?

Jihaad? Rookie but coming back pretty early from injury. Ringo for sure. Jalyx Hunt getting reps or already too valuable in a thin Edge group to play in preseason?
