Video is crazy. Looks like he was ejected from his seat.

Drunk or drugged up.

Or years of being a Pirates fan.

That is nuts. I've watched it countless times and I can't even figure it out. He clearly jumps up. Was he trying to kill himself or trying to look at something over the railing and lose his balance? Looks like he lands on his head, right? I doubt he ever walks again. Crazy

Season only 4 months away. Already 3 months since the Super Bowl.

Man people will do anything to not have to sit through a Pirates game these days

Hope he's ok...

Exactly - so I'm not going to get excited when some other nerd quotes the defense success rate against the run.

Witten Question for the Blog. Looking at the HOF Tight Ends below, which ones were inline blockers in the mold of Goedert and which ones were in the mold of Zach Ertz?

IMG_9765.jpegS

Ditka, Mackey, Witten and Newsome did it all. Gronk was a decent blocker.

Gonzalez was a big WR lined up close to the OL.
Kelce, Sharpe and Gates fit the Gonzalez mold.

And Winslow was the first of the WR type TEs.

Sanders, Casper and Smith were before my time and I haven't investigated them enough to be able to answer that.

But, if you're asking... Goedert isn't even close to these guys. And Ertz doesn't belong either unless it really is going to be the Hall of Very Good.

Reading the comments… A few people who say they were there say the guy was very drunk. It does look like he almost jumps. Crazy

Whoever it is will be getting picked on all season lol

I’m not so sure teams will want to pick on Ringo…

My suspicion is this is Howie filing out his data base. Maybe one will stick, but if others get picked up for another team's PS, he has some first hand info on them.

We now have 2 Australian rugby players to compete for the IPP exemption spot — LB/EDGE Patu and OT Vakahai.

They avoided Mitchell a lot last season

Don't know how verifiable this is but

I’m calling BS on the "importance” of it. They aren’t going to change their mind based on a phone call when they probably already turned the pick in. If Hunt can call him Big Pimpin after meeting for the first time, nothing is gonna change their mind.

Does this mean the Eagles have called players while on the clock they plan on drafting but then pulled out and took a different player based on how the phone call went?

I didn't take it that serious, Howie often jokes with Eisen. You can watch the clip to hear how he answered it. Howie did say it can affect teams on the clock trying to speak to the player first.

I doubt they would move on or something, they probably want to be the first to tell them before they hear their name called on TV. These days there are live camera reactions, they have the team hat ready at their house and all that.

I saw that too. Makes sense

Will that be his last drink? ph34r

Is it a lie if you believe it? I’m sure these people or doing their level best, but parts of their analysis are likely subjective while other parts are incomplete - so as we all know, take their opinions with a grain of salt.

From all accounts he jumped up for a McCutchen double and was so drunk he just fell forward. Critical condition...broken pelvis, skull fractures, etc.

Lucky to be alive… plenty of roofers wind up in a wheelchair falling off a 15ft ladder.

I was expecting more FA action post draft. Not with the Eagles per se, but in the league in general. Still a good number of FAs that could help a team out there.

At this point a bunch of them would likely rather stay free agents until closer to TC so that they miss all that other stuff. Some might even prefer to sign just before the start of the season, or even midseason for a contender that has an injury hit them hard.

It would be delicious irony if they used a rugby player to score on a non-rugby play.

It almost looks like he thought he could jump up and stand on the rail before he realized that wasn't a good idea.

Hurts has already accomplished more than McNabb obviously but it's crazy to see how Uche more at this stage of their careers.

After both of their age 26 seasons:

McNabb: 4-3 in the playoffs and 0-2 in NFC Championship Games.

Hurts: 6-3 in the playoffs, 2-0 in NFC Championship Games, 1-1 in the Super Bowl with a Super Bowl MVP.

Why do it earlier? What if he breaks his leg or jumps off the bleachers at a Pirates game. Is there any advantage to doing it way in advance?
