You could say that they are clearly making a statement about their thoughts on both McCord and DTR. If they don't trust them out there to be able to evaluate the other players, that speaks volumes.

Not understanding the Ainias Smith hate. Had some nice catches, RAC and a TD. Also had a great return on a night we were talking about the Eagles lack of returners. He might look slower than expected, but he's played very well.

Didn't they sign him to a decent contract? Pete likes him too. I don't see it. What about something like, to the Saints for CB Kool-Aide McKinstry. We'd have him for 3 more years. Had a solid rookie year and is looking good at camp. Or to the Colts for DE Laiatu Latu. Also would have him for the next three years plus a 5th year option.

Ainias Smith was one of the red star players, which is a guy some scout bangs the table for on day 3. Its not like it was a high conviction Howie pick. He can cut smith and fire that scout. I kinda hope that scout was already fired last year.

He turns 35 this year.They gave him a 2-year contract that runs through 2027. He's a stop gap QB. McKee could be their franchise QB.

If anything people should be hating on Avery Williams. He's shown nothing. Not that I'm calling for hate but I see no reason to hand him the KR/PR job
