i feel like either one should trade for McKee. Particularly saints with Moore. at this point they are set up to fail this year. So kind of think they both just let the season play out then circle back to McKee next offseason as they know their 2026 pick and can scouting incoming Qb prospects then decide McKee or rookie Qb.

That said i think a sleeper team in this could be the rams. Stafford is already having issues this year. And he could step in now and win with that roster. But the rams could move on or Stafford could retire after this year

Plus the Rams love trading 1st round picks. LOVE IT

With green shaded glasses on I see Cooper emerging as the heir apparent to Dotson for WR3 in 2026.

Yes. If anyone offers even just a 1, you take it.

Some other backup QB from Cleveland or Giants will shake loose to be backup. I only see McKee being a one year "rental" here anyway.

It’d be a brutal trade to turn down, but I’d hesitate a bit. You’d essentially be trading away a shot at a SB in a clear SB window if Hurts got a serious injury.

You don't trade McKee this year unless a team gets really desperate with at least a 1st like the Vikings-Bradford situation.

After this season though there should be opportunities. I think the most realistic one one would be Pittsburgh. Rodgers is there for one year.

Rams make sense too except that they just gave Stafford that big extension. Saints are going for a top QB in the draft. Maybe a team like the Raiders or Seahawks when they are slapped in the face with reality that Geno and Darnold aren't it. Vikings also a possibility if what's his name falls flat this year and appears to be a bust while they have a loaded team.

Frankly could’ve gotten someone better than Gronk for that panel. Tbh i actually think Brady in that role would be better than his color commentator role

Had no idea Jimmy Johnson retired. They all had a great chemistry together and was probably the only pregame show I liked

Gronk... not really a big fan of his but I'm not really a fan of a lot of the recent retirees that moved to broadcasting lately

I love Gronk. Great move by Fox although the NFL Network pregame show is the only one I watch.

Trade 'Me and my Tanner McKee' to the AFC please. He gonna crush it as QB1.

The Hurts v McKee Super Bowls are going to be epic.

Approaching midnight just thinking on it.

I wonder if Ringo's confidence took a shot after the Bennett trade.

I don't think Ringo had a bad night. He had one bad play and one mixed play. The TD was bad but he could have been in position to make the play. He misjudged the angle and could not recover. The other long completion against him was likely an incompletion. He gave the receiver no space to make the play. He just was not in a position to force the incompletion. He has stiff hips but good speed and size. I am not worried about him or Jackson. I think Jackson was about the same.

That's correct. We should trade Hurts.

No team is calling the Eagles offering a premium draft pick for McKee at this point. He didn't get drafted until the 6th round at #188 overall by the Eagles. The extent of his NFL experience is 30/45 for 323 yards and 4 TD passes -- which would be viewed around the NFL as essentially one start.

His success is likely interpreted around the league as that of a system QB in the Eagles' offense; most NFL talent evaluators are reluctant to recognize Hurts as a top 8 QB, much less his backup.

Bo going to work for ESPN out in LA.

He was a projected top 10-20 pick before his last year when he had the worst O-Line in the country and slim to no weapons.

Yeah but McKee clearly plays the position differently than Hurts, and the offense looks a lot different with McKee playing. The passing game is actually good when McKee plays. McKee is a QB, and I bet the NFL can see it.

Everyone talks about draft picks for McKee. Trading McKee makes the Eagles incrementally worse this year. They just won the SB last year. They are a/the SB favorite this year. The time is now. Now.

I don’t like McKee for a second. I don’t like McKee for a first. Trade McKee for a player. An excellent player at a position we are looking to improve. That’s a trade I’d look at. A first round pick doesn’t help us win a SB in the next 2 years.

McKee will be a ________ in 2026.

Going to go with Pittsburgh Steeler.

They will be just good enough to miss out on the quality prospects in the draft.

Absolutely keep him this year.

But get a haul in 2026.

Gonna get a showdown of nfl money vs. NIL money

I think the Manning family is sophisticated enough that they aren’t comparing which option makes the most money over the duration of a rookie vs. NIL deal. They are thinking a lot bigger and longer than that.

IMO, it’s common sense and risk mitigation. If he has a season that locks him in as the #1 overall pick, he’s declaring. If he has an up and down season that brings his stock down and he’s merely a first round pick amongst other QB names, he’s going to go back to Texas for NIL money and another year of finishing school.

Gronk would be a good replacement for Bradshaw as the resident idiot. For Jimmy Johnson? Not so much.

Steelers have to be the early favorite.

Dark horse candidate is the Seahawks.

Jets, Colts, Raiders could be in the mix as long as the wheels don't completely fall off and they pick inside the top 3.

I agree with this with the exception of this year...IF (big if) he ends up being projected as the #1 overall pick in the '26 draft, I don't think he comes out. I think he's locked in at Texas through the '26 season. There is only one thing that might make him go ahead and declare, and that's IF...(another big if) Texas were to win the natty this year.

No. Many people might be discussing his value, but not everyone is in favor of trading him for draft picks right now.

Personally, I have no interest in trading McKee at all for anything right now. We have a QB1 that hasn't played a full season in his career in the NFL, and his style of play leaves him extra vulnerable to injury. We need a competent QB2 more than anything else on this team.

That's right it should be multiple premium draft picks.

You didn't notice EJ Jenkins just standing around looking confused even before the ball arrived?

Calcaterra dropped an absolute dot from McKee on the sideline. Tough catch, but if you're labled a "receiving TE" you need to make that catch.
