Everyone talks about draft picks for McKee. Trading McKee makes the Eagles incrementally worse this year. They just won the SB last year. They are a/the SB favorite this year. The time is now. Now.

I don’t like McKee for a second. I don’t like McKee for a first. Trade McKee for a player. An excellent player at a position we are looking to improve. That’s a trade I’d look at. A first round pick doesn’t help us win a SB in the next 2 years.

I'd strongly disagree with this considering a 1st round rookie just helped us win a SB. Plus both of our 1st round picks in 2023 helped as well

I think the Manning family is sophisticated enough that they aren’t comparing which option makes the most money over the duration of a rookie vs. NIL deal. They are thinking a lot bigger and longer than that.

IMO, it’s common sense and risk mitigation. If he has a season that locks him in as the #1 overall pick, he’s declaring. If he has an up and down season that brings his stock down and he’s merely a first round pick amongst other QB names, he’s going to go back to Texas for NIL money and another year of finishing school.

Payton played 4 years at Tennessee because he enjoyed college. I do not think Manning is coming out early. He has over $6 million in NIL deals and that isn't money that is being paid by UT. He has no incentive to come out early. If he has a great season in 2025 and a mediocre season in 2026, and 2027 his stock will be the same. I don't think we will see him until the 2028 draft.

I think I'm the only one who likes Ainias Smith.

I think he did a good job last night. He just lacks burst. He had a nice punt return.

He looks like a run of the mill training camp slot. I don’t really see an NFL player.

You aren't alone. I thought he looked good last night. The punt return was nice. Never had much space to maneuver but showed excellent speed in tight spaces.

Did you know that Taylor Swift has a record that the cowpads don’t? She’s been to a Super Bowl in the last twenty years and they haven’t.

Any update on Elijah Cooks’ shoulder injury?

Just he was getting an MRI today on it but believes he’ll be ok

Actually other than ball security I think it's overrated. DeJean averaged 10 yards last year and they won the SB. Most separation there is 2 or 3 yards of field position. Again fumbles & extremes aside

Further, that 10.0 average ranked DeJean #9 in the NFL (of players with 10 or more returns). #6 averaged 10.4.

Plus the Rams love trading 1st round picks. LOVE IT

Problem with the Rams is their pick is going to be late in the Round. So they would need to throw in a sweetener pick.

They have the Falcons 1st rounder in 2026 as well

Eagles KR and PR coverage looked pretty bad; hopefully that was due to a lot of backups playing.

I don't have much loyalty to either Ainias Smith or Johnny Wilson -- I'd like to see more of Darius Cooper to assess if he's the best WR4 on the roster, which becomes more important if AJ, DeVonta, or Dotson are forced to miss time.

What a statue. That thing is like 30 feet tall.

No team is calling the Eagles offering a premium draft pick for McKee at this point. He didn't get drafted until the 6th round at #188 overall by the Eagles.

Ancient History. The NFL is all about What Have You Done For Me Lately. Look no further than Mr. Irrelevant Brock Purdy … and I strongly believe McKee is a better QB than Purdy is.

I got curious and tuned into the Browns game lol

That pick would be more enticing.

I feel bad for Stefanski. Helluva coach, but he doesn’t have a chance there.

Think we make a run at any of these 3?

Gilmore should at least get a try out. Smith, sure why not. Azeez and Uche don't look like anything spectacular. I don't think Vic likes Simmons all that much.
