Damn, I would love if Jalen came into the stadium with a guy pulling a loud speaker blasting music and carrying a large wooden staff.

Ew

Absolutely keep him this year.

But get a haul in 2026.

Would you trade him for a pro bowl CB, pro bowl edge, or all pro-RG with 2 years left on their deal?

I'd trade Mckee for any one of those things.

Nobody made SF a trade offer of any kind. Purdy began negotiations asking for $65M per season AAV and Lynch wasn’t prepared to go there. Schefter did some snooping around with other GMs to gauge Purdy’s trade value and the consensus he got was "great player, but he’s a great player for them”. There was very little if any interest around the league from QB-needy teams.

At present, McKee would be viewed the same way. He needs to get into meaningful games, produce, and win before there would be any market for him.

You are ignoring the reality that Lynch had no interest in a trade because he had no QB other than Purdy, so all the other GMs knew there was no point in calling him. On top of that the whole NFL knows that with his small hands Purdy is a really bad match to teams without California weather. I personally feel he is the most overrated QB in the NFL.

No. No. Maybe

Pro bowl can be by name and past accomplishments. Plenty of vets still get the accolade when they don't deserve it

I bet he's cooked.

He's looking damn good. Wow

Eagles KR and PR coverage looked pretty bad; hopefully that was due to a lot of backups playing.

I don't have much loyalty to either Ainias Smith or Johnny Wilson -- I'd like to see more of Darius Cooper to assess if he's the best WR4 on the roster, which becomes more important if AJ, DeVonta, or Dotson are forced to miss time.

It seemed like there were lanes everywhere for the Bengals. I'm no sold on Clay to be honest. His ST units were oretty bad his first year. Last year they didn't do anything good or bad, but nothing to write home about.

Shedeur Sanders becoming the star of Cleveland before our own eyes. He's a dark horse rookie of the year. If he wins the starting job and Browns go to the playoffs then it's a done deal. People mocked me for hating the idea of taking him in the draft but it would have been a great move, especially since McKee has become the trade asset that he is.

5 or less wins if he starts 17 games

The NFL isn't ready.

I think it would have to be someone with at least two years left on their deal. These contracts that are coming up are numerous and very expensive. I think I'd do it for Kool Aid. Not sure if he's a fit though for Vic.

RT Taliese Fuaga is also highly intriguing, could plug him in at RG and he could move to RT whenever Lane wants to move on. Or he could just lock down RG. Maybe we give them Steen in the package if they need an o-lineman back. Seems too much like a baseball trade though and not an NFL one.

Based on your gushing over these mediocre stats, Tanner McKee should start over Hurts after last nights performance

I used to listen to him all the time before he lost his mind with not being able to stop talking politics. Even emailed him a few times only for him to fly off the rails and try to get me to drive to the station and fight him. But I suppose the level of his insanity is what made him entertaining back when he kept it about sports.

From the article:

Obviously Beasley would not make this move without a replacement lined up. Jon Marks recently announced his departure from PHLY and expressed interest in working middays as one of the reasons for leaving WIP at the end of 2023. It would seem that Marks has to be penciled in as candidate #1 to replace Mike, unless there’s something coming down the pike that we’re unaware of. We will continue to "effort” that information, but Marks makes so much sense right now.

LOL if he lost his job to someone as awful as Jon Marks. As much as I don't like Mikey Miss anymore that is an awful decision.

On the last PHLY pod, all the Commanders stuff kinda suggested Zach will be covering them next. Would be a massive loss to the Eagles beat, if so.

He said he’ll still be covering Eagles

Media: I just don't undersand how Shedeur could fall to the 5th round. Everyone must be r acist.

Shedeur-Gets a start in a preseason game because of injuries and does this.

Sounds awful to suspend a game. Hope he’s fine and this is just because it’s preseason.

No. ESPN isn’t even in LA anymore, they moved full time to Bristol and closed their LA offices. Just that poster making up more BS as per usual.

He’s going back to The Athletic per Crossing Broad. My guess is so he can focus on writing. He’s never liked doing stuff and I can’t blame him, doing daily podcasts is overkill.

Im waiting for the regular season to begin and people who complimented Patullo last night, and said Dotson looks legit after an offseason with the team are going to start saying the opposite when the passing game doesnt look as hot as it did last night. The unspeakable fact will be that the difference is the QB. I suppose, we will have to accept it, as we can win super bowls with Jalen at QB.

Itd be a lot of fun watching a McKee led offense hang 50 weekly though. Watching all of our weapons eat with a 5,000 yard passer at QB.

Eagles did that with Ron Solt. Was a massive disaster.
