What’s up, guys? I’ve been quiet on here lately. The truth is, I’ve been going through a rough stretch with my mental health. I wasn’t sure whether to say anything, but with June being Men’s Mental He

Would he bend his knee like he did in the cart if it were an Achilles?

He could ride however he waves in the cart whether it was an ACL or Achilles.

Schefter said Dickerson is expected to undergo an MRI on this right knee today.

That's a start! There's a chance for just a bone bruise rather than achilles!

If it was an ACL or Achilles tear they would have known by now.

When they "know" and when they confirm and tell the media are different things.

MRI on the knee is positive news though

Man, really hoped to wake up to a tweet from Derrick Gunn saying Dickerson avoided a major injury. Nothing leaking yet has me concerned…

Likely still waiting on that MRI.

There's a video of the play up now and it looks like Mailata stepped on the back of his foot. It makes me think it's probably a meniscal injury because wouldn't a bone bruise require direct trauma to the knee?

Hoping we’re looking at a hypertension or maybe an MCL sprain

High blood pressure from all the uncrustables?

Yeah they usually know immediately based on on field tests, but they dont release info until after the MRI confirms.

no. Bone bruises are very common with a hyperextension injury, from the forces of the bones knocking together internally. Not necessarily from someone else hitting your bone. People often freak out over an ACL when they see a hyperextension and its usually just a bone bruise. Unless its a really ugly hyperextension like a Leonard Weaver, or a Nick Chubb.

A really quick jerk back and reflexively getting the weight off of the leg like Dickerson did last night us usually a bone bruise.

My employer added a buzzword bingo phrase into a company survey, asking how I felt reading it and does it align with our values. My reply was, did you get this from a coffee cup, because it doesn't mean anything.

If his heel was up off the ground and someone steps on the back of your foot, you could be looking at a nasty variety of the lis franc injury. But they are MRIing the knee so not worried about that.

Firefox. That, uBlock origin and noscript provide a usable experience. Noscript can be a pain to start while it learns what to allow and what to block. It does remember once you 'tell' it what to do. I'm using Ubuntu, I don't know how Firefox performs on Windows. There were complaints it was too slow, I've never noticed that. It does happen that some web sites don't perform correctly with Firefox. I find that usually if I enable trouble shooting mode ( help > trouble shoot) they work as expected. I also have traditional menus enabled. Traditional menus are a little more involved - a few more clicks but not bad once you know how. It's too bad that web developers don't seem to be aware that there are more browsers in the world than Chrome and Chrome Lite (Edge).

What you notice with NoScript is how bloated some websites are with trackers, etc. By being able to turn off stuff, Firefox's performance doesn't seem compromised to me on Windows 10 or Windows 11. It just works, but as you say, the setup is a bit of faff at the beginning on NoScript.

Would Still do a confirmatory with an acl. Could be a partial

More concerned about a pcl or cartilage

If Dickerson has a bone bruise, he can look like a cool customer at the club with a knee brace on like Paul George the other day

We've been exceptionally lucky with injuries the past 3 seasons. We're due for some regression. Hope it doesn't hit Landon here.

Speaking of preseason overreacting: Jaxon Dart's mom is not that hot. He celebrated with her after the game and based on the social media reactions you'd think she was Sydney Sweeney.

I know this isn't what anyone is focusing on but...Kenny Pickett isn't THAT bad. Not a chance in hell I'd roll with Richardson or Rattler over him in a must win game and I don't think it's particularly close either

Can't guys usually walk if they have an ACL tear? Of course there are plenty of other bad knee/leg things.

Well, you can't have 34 starters in a 32-team league so right away that's a "grain-of-salt" list.

Saints will also be much more entertaining to watch with Shough as starting QB over Rattler; even the brief glimpse yesterday demonstrated that.
