Burrow is a modern Warren Moon.

He plays in a run and shoot.

He takes lots of sacks as part of his run and shoot.

He does not win games at a higher rate than his current backup.

Shut up about Burrow. He had 1 TD in the SB.

He did not run for yards when the pass rush was tough.

He did not do enough.

His RB had as many passing TDs in that SB.

His claim to fame is that his defense played well against KC twice in the playoffs.

His passer ratings in those 2 KC games were 86.5 and 70.2

He avoided sacks in the win and he got sacked like crazy in the loss.

Burrow is a 93.8 rated passer in the playoffs. He adds nothing in the run game and he took 29 sacks in 7 games.

Josh Allen is a 101.7 rated playoff passer who also has 668 yards and 7 TDs in 13 playoff games.

Allen has 28 sacks in 6 more games than Burrow.

Allen wins or loses playoff games where he has to score in the high 20s to have a chance and in the 30s to win.

Burrow's D always keeps things lower than that. EVERY TIME

His D beat Tennessee 19-16... Joe was also there.

The POOR BABY! Burrow excuses are lies from the ignorant.

Lamar struggled big time in his first 2 playoff years. (maybe its a Ravens thing (See Flacco)

In his last 2 playoff runs he is a 105.8 rated passer with 10 sacks in 4 games plus 240 yards rushing and 2 TDs.

His choking TE dropped 2 balls in his hands.

Lamar was the best player in the regular season last year and it was not close.

Saquon and Allen also belonged in the conversation. Voters opinions are less important than reality.

Burrow was a pass happy loser throwing to awesome WRs and not winning enough.

Just saw Landon at the airport. He told me it was just a bone bruise. He'll be ready for the girls

Not that he knows anything but Fran Duffy thinks Toth would be the starter if Dickerson was seriously hurt.

My money is on Kendall.

Bechton, the one that got away...

For shame Howie lol

At guard? Or move Jurgens to guard and have Kendall play center?

I wouldn't move Jurgens.

Either or. But somehow I believe Kendall factors in here. I think thats how they get their 5 best OL on the field in this scenario.

I actually brought up outside the box scenario when Kendall was drafted that if steen failed at RG and they believed Kendall could be a solid starting center, they could shift Kendall to center and jurgens back to RG for a year if they believed that was their best 5 olineman. Then look to draft and sign a guard in the 2026 offseason.

Haven’t kept up with training camp as much but are they cross training Kendall at guard?

Not that PFF is infallible, but they had Pryor as the #31 guard in the NFL last year. He's an adequate starter.

The only issue is he was mostly RG. He played some LT and limited LG, but Stout always seemed to put him on the right side for whatever reason.

Steen played LG in the NFCCG, so could move him over there. Pryor also ran at LG with the 1st team in OTAs.

There point was Steen is settling in and playing well at RG, so the Eagles might be reluctant to throw a switch on his plate even though he started the NFCCG and would prefer to just change one spot instead of two. Especially if it's a short term injury. If it's a season ender, then they may move Steen.

Not sure if he has been in at guard at all.

If its a season ender, I think Howie swings a trade to bring Dylan McMahon back so we end up still having a legit backup center on the roster and that covers for Kendall to move in to the lineup.

That would probably be about the lowest cost (trade compensation, and money) solution that provides us starter quality answers.

Pryor is pretty good for a week or 2. Toth may or may not be. Both are journeymen for a reason. People are highest on Drew Kendall. If its long term, I think the team will go to him.

Funny enough, Dylan McMahon is listed on the rams depth chart as a backup RG.

I wonder what we will find out first? Details of Sirianni's mystery contract or Landon Dickerson's injury status.

The team actually individually notified everyone on the blog about Sirianni's contract except you. I would tell you but for the NDA.

He was polar opposite of Bekton last year. Pryor was very good pass blocking and not so much for run.

Explains why it took some time.

Wide range of outcomes here…

Second opinion means decide if he should get surgery.

I agree with that. If it's a few weeks, just play Pryor at LG for now. If it is longer term, I think you move Steen to LG and put Pryor at RG.

I don't see them trying to get Kendall to play guard. I don't believe he played guard at all in college. Asking a rookie to play a new position for the 1st time since high school in the NFL...that's the kinda thing Dallas does.

A meniscus injury recovery time depends a lot on whether Landon Dickerson needs surgery and, if so, what kind:

  • Partial meniscectomy (trimming the damaged part): usually 4–6 weeks before return to play.

  • Meniscus repair (stitching it back together): typically 3–4 months, sometimes longer, because the repair needs to heal fully before heavy stress.

  • Non-surgical rehab: if it’s minor and treated with rest/therapy, possibly 2–6 weeks.

Since Schefter says he’s "getting additional options,” they’re probably deciding between surgery types — meaning the timeline could swing from being ready early in the season to missing a big chunk of it.

I'm not a doctor but I play one on Web MD.

A mild tear can heal in a month without surgery.

A really bad tear could be season ending, or take 4 or 5 months. (playoffs?)

Its reasonable to expect we won't see much of him until late October into November.

Anything earlier will be bonus time.

Unless it is really bad, it shouldn't be season ending. Jalen Ramsey came back for the end of the year in 2023 after surgery for a full repair.
