I didn't even fully realize we get to watch Sanders in the game this week. Very exciting.

What’s up, guys? I’ve been quiet on here lately. The truth is, I’ve been going through a rough stretch with my mental health. I wasn’t sure whether to say anything, but with June being Men’s Mental He

Good for him. No AJ today

Starting to think the hamstring is more of an issue then they have been letting on.

They’re just not risking it

It's a hamstring. They showed him running the other day. Hamstrings are easy to aggravate so they're not going to push it in training camp for AJ

As we both know, discovery in arbitration is private. Unless under seal (which seems unlikely in this case), discovery in court is not. Also, Nevada is a judicial hellhole for defendants so the courts favor the plaintiff. I really believe that the defeat on the arbitration clause is the last thing Goodell et al want. I would bet they try to settle, but Gruden strikes me as a pound of flesh type guy.

I am sure they didn't want it. I just don't think the NFL is going to look bad out of it. Either they didn't release the emails or they did. Let's assume there's an email from Goodell to the NYT, saying "Here's a bunch of boob and sexist things John Gruden put in an email. I hope he gets fired once you publish them." I am not sure that is improper conduct.

There are 2 teams that just appear to be COMICALLY overrated going into the season. One is the Commanders, and I've posted on them before -- I see them finishing with at best 9 wins, and most likely a losing record. I won't beat a dead horse there.

Can someone explain to me all the love for the Broncos? Is it because people expect some massive jump from Bo Nix? The roster is...fine I guess. Basically a bunch of B level players other than Surtain. They had one good win last year against a playoff team -- they beat the Bucs on the road in week 3. The other 9 wins were: at the Jets, 2 against the Raiders, at New Orleans, Carolina, Atlanta, Cleveland, Indy and the Chiefs' backups in week 18. They got pasted by Buffalo and Baltimore. They get lucky with the AFC South and NFC East this year, but so does KC. Maybe they ride a weak schedule to 9-10 wins again, but feels like everyone is picking them to win the division, and I just don't see it at all.

And if it's because people think Payton is some great coach...I mean, he's basically Temu Mike McCarthy. In 16 years with a 1st ballot HOF QB, he went to and won a single Super Bowl. Lost in the NFCCG 2 times. In 13 years with Favre/Rodgers, McCarthy got to and won the Super Bowl once and lost 3 NFCCGs.

I don't understand the Commanders' offseason moves at all aside from adding Tunsil. They had a terrible defense that benefited from a weak schedule. They lost their top pass rusher and best DT. I can see that defense being comically bad. I do think the oline is better but I am not sure if that helps Daniels.

I agree on the Broncos. Everyone talkes like they had some dominant defense last season. They had a bottom feeder schedule and were mediocre against good teams. They also benefited from KC resting all of their starters in week 18. They were stomped on by the Bills in the playoffs and stomped by the Ravens in the regular season. If the Chiefs needed to win game 17, I doubt the Broncos would have won.

Who knows but why risk it for him? I also think it's better for the offense to figure out things without him.

I had to stop following him on Twitter because he posts so much about freaking wrestling.

JAKIB Sports offers so little....

Any concern about AJ? Was limited yesterday but back to no practice today. Kempski said he's fine the other day they're just being cautious but I think that was more tea leaf reading than inside info.

To be honest most of them offer little even the guys I like. They are just talking about the Eagles so I'll sometimes listen even tho they don't add anything new. This is the time of year they actually have value since practice isn't televised.

No. Its a hamstring. I wouldnt have expected him to be back in a week. Especially before any games have started.

He’s probably holding out because he found out the eagles are going to trade him.

Easier covering Browns receivers than Eagles or Bengals.

Sanders had a decent game against the HORRIBLE Panthers, and all of Cleveland exploded- because THAT was their 2025 Super Bowl. and Sanders was their MVP. He played against a horrible defense. F Sanders.

This. Let Dotson run AJ's routes. Dotson's value is as an injury replacement, not a WR3 running in motion all the time.

Was listening to The Ringer's NFL podcast. They were panning Sanders' performance. 6 yards per attempt, a negative EPA, and only a 33% success rate. Not something Nike should have been tweeting over.

He had a good game against a bad defense. Same as McKee. It's okay to praise both for their performances.

Oh no we are going to lose the joint practice and that takes us out of the running for the one seed!!!

What the Browns should be doing this week is having Gabriel play the first half as Sanders did last week, have Huntley play the 3rd quarter and Sanders the 4th quarter. Mary Kay Cabot seems to think they'll carry all 4 QBs on their 53-man roster, which makes no sense to me. If they cut Gabriel as a 3rd round pick it's possible another team picks him up; I think they could cut Sanders without anyone picking him up and add him back onto their practice roster -- if that's what they'd choose to do.

Unless he shows real potential in camp I'd cut him and if someone else picks him up I'd shrug my shoulders and say goodbye to the media that's been hanging around him.
