The people here in the Blog who know O-Line felt that Fred was pedestrian. In other words no better than Lamm or Pryor … if as good.

They could use that right now

Ojulari looks slow af but might just be a vet half assing it in PS

He looked a lot like Sweat running after a play. If he has that edge move and burst around the corner... that works for me. I don't want to see him dropping in coverage very often.

Seems McVay is going to provide an update on Stafford in a press conference Monday. Sounds a tad ominous.

All reports out of camp is how much of a consistent beast Carter has been. They already had a really good defensive line. He puts them in that top spot.

It's okay to admit that. They aren't a contender right now but they are a dark horse to come out of nowhere and make the playoffs or win the division.

So he is dominating the Giants offensive line.

Great stuff.

What are his measurements for the gold jacket?

eagles got their butts kicked all week. MAYBE tied in the first practice. May have lost. Got dominated in the 2nd practice. Then lost the game.

Im ready to skip game 3 and get to the good stuff.

Bennett. They traded Booker. Hes a good player. Hes not just a throwaway to send for a lottery ticket CB. Bennett was brought in to challenge for the starting job all along. He has been moving up the depth chart since he got here. He will be the day 1 starter.

McWilliams is a darkhorse. But I dont think he is going to beat Bennett day 1. Will Bennett hold the job? If not, McWilliams will be the next man up.

Maybe so, but Ringo and Jackson are not that much better. We can litter the wall and see what sticks.

Still think it’ll be Ringo and I think he’ll be one of their better players on opening night. Probably even gets an INT too or something. And then will play relatively well until that game vs Tampa where it’ll be like 120 degrees and everyone will be gassed and the defense will have its first tough game.

And I don’t even like Ringo, I didn’t want them to draft him I think he’s too stiff, but I gotta think Howie didn’t royally screw up by letting Rodgers and Slay go and the scouts and coaches see something in Ringo that will eventually be validated. I think he will match up well with a WR like Pickens. That’s the ideal WR matchup for him. He’ll struggle vs smaller twitchy guys.

The cool thing about the Mukuba TD is it wasnt a CJGJ type of INT. It was a play that Mukuba made happen. He undercut that route.

Hopefully he won't steal Q's interceptions either!

yeah. And Q better catch them or else we may want someone to steal them again.

I think its Bennett for week 2 after 9 more days of study and practice. Maybe its him week 1, maybe its a combo, who knows?

30ish days is not a lot of time to get everything worked out for scheme and team followed by Fangio giving him the thumbs up.

Does anyone think it's Jackson at this point?

Gabriel looked good for the Browns today. Not convinced Huntley hasn’t supplanted Sanders’ roster spot as well.

I do. Not exciting at all, but I think he's the one Fangio will trust the most.

Bennett makes the most sense. Frankly, Ringo has performed exactly as I thought he would. I've never seen him standout in a CB role, and I'm seeing more of the same from him. Hopefully losing the CB2 battle won't change his ST impact. He's a really good gunner.

Another guy who you hope doesn't get discouraged and give less effort on STs will be Sydney Brown when Mukuba takes the job. Brown seemed to think this would be the year he gets off the bench.

Frankly, as long as we get the INT, I couldn't care less which player actually makes the pick.

Unfortunately they all are. Whoever starts will be the whipping boy of the season. I'm looking forward to clowning whoever it is.
