I think they vote around Thanksgiving and he was the leader in yards and TDs in 2023.

He's also a 5 time 1st team all-pro (the 1st one was at KR)

I agree its too high in rating at this moment heading into 2025, but I also see why he wound up so high.

I thought Sheil's point about J. Bennett made a lot of sense. Passed along from Ted Nguyen (big Raiders guy, good NFL analyst) that awareness is a weak point for Bennett. Sheil said that Bennett might look way better in the excessive man coverage reps this preseason vs Jackson/Ringo, but that's not how Fangio is gonna call regular season games and Bennett might not be a good fit for that.

He probably is getting a good luck at practice which is why Jackson may be ahead at this point. I also wonder how much tackling will come into play. It's possible that we get a couple games into the season and things change because of missed tackles.

It's the muppet's. I know based on the hyperbole.

If that's the case then why did we trade for him. That would be foolish on the front offices part if he doesn't fit the scheme and Vic just made comments about Howie/Jackson no less.

Vic said they didn't consult him for FA so I doubt Howie did for the trade either.

Then they need to get better at getting players that fit Vic's scheme, inexcusable.

Totally agree. As good as Howie has been he hasn't done a good job with the secondary this year letting Rodgers go and not signing Alexander.

Lol no chance Sanders gets cuts. That'd be a media circus. Though maybe they do because they're the Browns and they can't help it lol

Would Sanders sign with the Browns’ Practice Squad? He might choose to be a free agent and see who rings him up on the phone.

If they went out and traded for Bennett but this system doesn't fit his strengths, then what a pitiful job on the front offices part. Unless of course he is a fit and Sheil is incorrect.

He will go back to college for another year.

But he'd have to wear another number.

Eagles secretly asked the media to begin the Dotson hype train to build up his trade value.

PHLY today:

EJ said there was some debate between the reporters at practice today with who should be more concerned about their job of the WRs with the addition. Bo basically said Cooper is clearly the #4 and thinks he'd make the team over Metchie even. That he's been that good in camp. Said he's had the best summer of any player on the roster factoring in expectations going in. Both think if it affects anyone it's probably Ainias, but could also be Wilson.

Both said right now if they had to pick the week 1 starter at CB2 they'd pick Bennett. EJ thinks Adoree is like 50/50 being week 1 starter and the other 50% he gets cut. But doesn't think it makes a lot of sense to start him because he offers nothing long term to the Eagles.

Flacco is about 400 days younger than Rodgers and has way less wear and tear / damage to his body.

Flacco is in way better physical shape than Stafford.

Pickett is a decent backup or a bottom 10 starter. You can do much worse.

The 2 rookies would be hot garbage at any point this year.

They are probably a 5-7 win team with the pros at QB. It might be better for the franchise to take the lumps and fight New Orleans for the first pick.

He'd be a Cowboy in 5 seconds.

He has always given the best tape review out there of anyone on social media.

Thought I read he had high grades in zone coverage when we traded for him

Lol @ Bo

Oh and Bo and EJ both think Mukuba has taken the lead in the safety competition. Given the preseason game and how Mukuba got the majority of reps with the 1's today. Good news there.

Right now Adore Jackson is the ultimate gatekeeper at CB2. If Ringo couldn't beat him out by now, he never will. I also don't buy the Mac McWilliams or Cooper Dejean stuff. It's pretty much down to Jackson, Bennett, or someone not currently on the roster.

Of all of the people who cover the team nobody overrates the "Nasty Nates" of the world more than Bo. Cooper will be lucky to make the team and he sure as hell isn't going to end up above Wilson or Metchie on the depth chart.

Good news for the other Bennett truthers.

I think Anias Smith is probably the odd man out after the Metchie trade. The only problem is I have no idea what they would do at PR if Smith is cut as well as Avery Williams. I guess the plan could be to sneak Smith on the PS and elevate him for the games the first few weeks and see what roster spot opens up when he's out of elevations.

I just don't want to see DeJean back there.
