Crocs are ridiculously popular. I see people of all ages wearing them. It’s not just nurses and slobs anymore.

At the airport. Seinfeld voice: "what's the deal with these people that wear pajamas on ariplanes?"

I think DeJean will return punts. He’s a football player. DJax returned kicks. This notion that you can’t use a starter in a play where they touch the ball for impact is lame

This. Absolutely this. If there is someone better than Coop, the fine. But it looks like there probably isn’t. So let him fair catch three or four balls a game and trust him to not put himself in harm’s way on the few he does return.

After lighting up the world his rookie season he was used situationally less and less through out his career at PR. Telling coop to go back there and Greg Lewis it is not the answer. I’m sorry.

Both Stefanski and Berry looked liked they were both just given a horrible diagnosis just before the press conference where they announced the selection of Sanders.

Given Gabriels recent comments about being a football player and not an entertainer, i can only imagine Sanders has been rubbing everybody the wrong way. I just don’t get that kid…the draft tumble should have been a humbling experience. He’s not his dad, he’s barely got the talent that his dad had in his left pinkie toe. Huge difference between confidence and arrogance. Talent can overcome arrogance for a while, but you have to be ultra talented.

I'm not sure if the NFL knows who their core fans are anymore.

They don't care. They know that their core fans will never leave them, so they are focusing nearly all their attention on the fringe because that's a market to be fleeced. The core is already money in the bank to them.

Ive never even so much as tried on a pair of crocs. Im too afraid. Theyre supposed to be so good I figure if I try them on, Ill become a croc guy.

I actually thought maybe eagles crocs would end up making me break the seal. Then I scrolled down a bit more and, those eagles ones absolutely suck.

You mean the core audience that wants something comfortable to slip on quickly to run to the fridge to get another cold one, then proceed to get off quickly to kick their feet up? Psssh peak adulthood is realizing that crocs are amazing. They might look ugly but they’re functional, comfortable & versatile. They really grow on you, once you become a croc person.

Yeah. Thats why I refuse to even try them on. Im aware of what might happen.

I don’t blame you…however if you ever do get the actual croc brand. They last forever and well made, the knock offs you’ll wear through quickly. Honestly i live in them now that my feet are free from the clutches of combat boots. It’s liberating. Ive been needing to wear shoes a bit more often now though because my feet are f’d from my 20 something years of beating them up. So they give me issues with my arthritis at times, i will say that.

Where do you live? Crocs and pajama pants is common for people that think that 4wd mode is acceptable in crocs. I have no respect for people that can’t 2wd in any terrain.

I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a worse defense than the Cincinnati Bengals…Joe Burrow is going to have to throw 65 touchdowns for them to make the playoffs this year

It’s hard to believe they could be worse than last year on defense but there’s a solid chance considering Hendrickson might get traded

Imagine how Stefanski must have reacted after the joint practice with the Eagles seeing Sanders milling around several minutes, then going on a ride in a cart with the other teams’ QB instead of getting to the locker room with his own actual teammates. 30 years ago, he’d have been cut that day.

Cool street chalk art. He posted both angles.

They are great for slipping on while camping. Surprisingly good on the beach as well when red tide washed up dead fish with barbs last winter. I tried not to like them.

The 1st guy that gets choice of numbers after cuts is Campbell...#30 is bad..for LB or DE

My comment was more broadly directed than at the crocs. It seems every move the NFL has made recently has been aimed at any demographic except for the core fans... the ones that made the NFL into the gigantic empire it has become.

The NFL should leave Friday night alone as well. Friday night is for HS football. Saturday for college.

@just relax and others, here is Tommy Lawlor’s assessment of the O-Line against the Browns. Thoughts?

OL – The line looked good on the series after Mukuba’s fumble recovery. It was rough other than that. Kendall Lamm had his struggles. Matt Pryor too. Darrian Kinnard played RG and probably looked the best. Brett Toth was okay at LG, but not so good at center. Rookie Myles Hinton was better than last week, but still had a penalty and gave up a big hit on the QB. He is not ready to play in a real game. Trevor Keegan played RG in the second half. He didn’t impress me at all. Rookie Cameron Williams was the RT in the second half. He’s got the tools to develop into a good blocker, but struggles. At least with him you can absolutely see the potential. I just don’t see it with Keegan.

The line did not handle stunts and twists well. There was poor communication all over the place. The Browns loaded the LOS a lot and that caused more confusion than it should have.

We need to keep Kinnard. He's the key to the repeat.

There was a story over here the other week that Crocs sales are declining in the current Q and the stock price took a pummeling.

https://www.wsj.com/business/earnings/crocs-revenue-increases-as-namesake-brand-demand-remains-strong-26b0da11

So this partnership makes a lot of sense. Sports fans will buy any old toot.

Like a lot of things, theyve become too expensive for what they are.

I recently visited the outlet stores and got a pair of Puma sneakers from their factory store for $29.99. More comfortable than my $130 Nikes that I thought were awesome.

Go in to the crocs store, and theyre over $50.

I can get a whole sneaker with great cushioning and actual functionality for nearly half the price of a piece of rubber that looks dorky.

I think Anias Smith is probably the odd man out after the Metchie trade. The only problem is I have no idea what they would do at PR if Smith is cut as well as Avery Williams. I guess the plan could be to sneak Smith on the PS and elevate him for the games the first few weeks and see what roster spot opens up when he's out of elevations.

I just don't want to see DeJean back there.
