Nothing incredible, but it's fun to have a smoke throwing closer that actually closes the game. I'll take all the silliness if he closes like he did tonight.

Oh, no doubt. He's electric and is bringing it. Love that they have him here. Just not seeing the hype over a dumb light show.

Am I dead inside? What exactly is incredible about this?

You can't tell from this video, but they changed the spider.

WR might be easier to figure out if we don't overthink it, especially with Johnny Wilson facing a potential serious injury. The big question IMO is do they want to use a spot on Avery Williams or Ainias Smith.

If they keep 5 WR, they most likely keep Avery Williams. They can keep 6 if Ainias Smith is returner while cutting Avery Williams.

The scenarios I see are the following:

WR1 AJ Brown WR1 AJ Brown WR1 AJ Brown WR1 AJ Brown WR1 AJ Brown

WR2 DeVonta Smith WR2 DeVonta Smith WR2 DeVonta Smith WR2 DeVonta Smith WR2 DeVonta Smith

WR3 Jahan Dotson WR3 Jahan Dotson WR3 John Metchie WR3 Jahan Dotson WR3 John Metchie

WR4 John Metchie WR4 John Metchie WR4 Darius Cooper WR4 John Metchie WR4 Jahan Dotson

WR5/KR/PR Ainias Smith WR5 Darius Cooper WR5/KR/PR Ainias Smith WR5 Johnny Wilson (avoids injury scare) WR5 Johnny Wilson (avoids injury scare)

WR6 Darius Cooper KR/PR Avery Williams (Dotson traded for CB/DE) WR6/KR/PR Ainias Smith WR6 Darius Cooper

It is momentary hype. For a drab city like Philly it's gotta feel like going to Vegas for the first time. The excitement wears off after the 5th visit. However, if he closes out a playoff series in Philly the light show will be madness

I think he would fail the loyalty pledge to LeBron, Bronny, Shedeur, and Angel Reese.

I hate all of them. Add in their love for the Yankees, UConn, Cowgirls. Wouldn't be a good fit

Yikes, that format didn't work as I wanted. That looks like a mess. Apologies.

What was your goal? Doing the scenarios in rows rather than in columns might be easier for everyone.

I will open the Regular Season Blog in a week, after roster cuts and practice squad creation.

We will continue to use the Hazletonian approach of a Part 1 and Part 2.

What is the lowest pick you would be willing to part with Dotson for?

It would have to at least be a 3rd for me.

The AJ Brown AJ Brown AJ Brown AJ Brown AJ Brown AJ Brown AJ Brown depth chart looks pretty good. I wouldnt mind the DeVonta Smith DeVonta Smith DeVonta Smith DeVonta Smith DeVonta Smith DeVonta Smith option either.

Physically he fits the mold at safety, but like center, safety is primarily a cerebral position, that is, a good safety sees the field, reads the QBs eyes,, anticipates the throw and oh yeah, makes the tackle when he comes up instead of whiffing.

Blankenship has average size, average athleticism but starts b/c he's smart as a whip and can be a coach on the field.

Ringo is fast, but if he can't recognize what's happening, his speed will be negated as he hesitates post-snap, trying to figure out what's happening and where he should go.

The difference between an 'athlete' and a football player.

Incoming Ringo trade.
