What’s up, guys? I’ve been quiet on here lately. The truth is, I’ve been going through a rough stretch with my mental health. I wasn’t sure whether to say anything, but with June being Men’s Mental He

I'm fine with holding out most of the starters until practice for the Dallas game begins.

Sucks Mukuba is missing practice time, but assuming the hammy is ok by opening night, it would be a major upset if he's not starting at safety over Brown.

Ringo has talent, it just might not be at CB. Malcolm Jenkins was a terrific CB at OSU but only lasted 1 season in the NFL as a CB before he became a Pro Bowl safety. I'd rather take a gamble on Ringo trying safety, where he doesn't have to be put on an island and see what he can do then just outright cutting him. It might be a failed experiment, but if his days here at CB are winding down, it's worth a chance.

It's a fan pipedream, and I'm sure if they thought he had any future at safety the switch would have been done by now, but I don't think it's a crazy idea.

I will offer this. There was a clip of Reed and Coop doing a react drill where they follow the ball and break earlier this year where from the break, Reed was a step faster than Coop (who is already a top nickel in the NFL). Now think back to the turn drill clip posted about a week and a half ago where folks on here were talking about his slow turn. This was after the Chase touchdown where he misplayed positioning for the tackle. Look at the end of that play where Brown almost gets to Chase at the goal line. Angles and instinct are what a Safety needs but burst out of a change of direction is key as in a no step turn. Do you see that in Ringo? Ringo has great size and speed including straight line makeup speed but the burst out of a turn you want in a Safety is missing.

Jenkins couldn’t mirror worth a damn. But his instincts and burst on a change of direction were pretty good until he started to lose that burst as he aged. That instinct allowed him to get to the receiver when the ball did.

What I see with Ringo is a boundary corner best in zone. But he needs to use his hands better and should be on the field every day doing a short shuttle with his eyes up and working on his pivot push. He mirrors well with his eyes on the receiver but not with hip and hand checks. He is good for MOD (man only deep) that Fangio uses with zone, except for trusting his "feel” (touch coverage which includes hearing) as much as his eyes. That should come with playing time. He should have stayed in college one more year to get that playing time.

Dotson to SF for Gross-Matos

Dotson to Jets for Azareyeh Thomas

Its a good trick to trade the same guy to 2 different teams and get return from both.

That's six in the top 100 so far, with three to go.

I understand the concern about CB and S. But we have four all-pro caliber players across all three levels of the defense. Most of the league would be envious of our situation.

Last PS game roster move just like the 49ers signing Sudfeld. Means that Campbell, Trot2 and, of course, Baun won’t play so it’s Mondon, Dixon, Grant and now Chance at ILB. Probably a move to limit Mondon’s participation.

Ringo has been getting overhyped since he was drafted. I wonder how much hype he'd have gotten if he attended Wake Forest instead of UGA. 🤔

It's the last day, someone better fight

That would be my guess.

IR Wilson. Brown, Smith, Dotson, Metchie and Cooper make the 53.

Sure we lose out on the returners, but that group has the potential to be the deepest WR group in the league.

I'm worried Cooper is gonna be this year's Nasty Nate though

He seemed to be walking ok onto the field today. I'm guessing he practices after the game

I think they'll keep 6 WRs.

I've noticed that Saints are usually the ones doing the comments in these videos

Cooper gotta be -5000 in betting odds for Nasty Nate
