Not sure if any of this would be considered controversial, but my predictions on some of the position winners and day 1 starters:

1. LB - Campbell

2. CB2 - Bennett

3. Safety - Brown

Unless, of course, Howie goes all Howie and brings in other guys.

Kenyon Green by all accounts has not had a good camp. Berman back in like May predicted him to beat out Steen. The guy might just suck. I don't think he's going to make the team unless Howie clings to that draft pedigree thing he can't let go of.

Sad day for me. I was hoping Powell-Ryland would work his way up the depth chart but he just never made a splash. I don't know how many real chances some of those players get when buried on the depth chart. Playing with the 4th string secondary as a pass rusher probably isn't a good experience either. Here's to hoping they want him on the practice squad. I'm hopeful he gets more than 9 snaps in the final pre-season game since they may be his last.

I suspect Darius Cooper is a better back up for AJ than Wilson. I like Dotson as a back up to Devonta. Melchie is better in the slot but Dotson will be the starter there. That’s my five WRs and they try to get Ainias Smith to PS. Wilson one of the two designated to return IR players.

Frankly I thought Green would be the other designated to return IR but he is not on injury list and sounds bad when he does practice or play.

Given the number of practices AJ Brown has missed... it could be argued that Cooper has been better. After all, the most important ability is availability.
