Yes, but none of them were WRs. So, we're due to find a WR hidden gem. 😉

What’s up, guys? I’ve been quiet on here lately. The truth is, I’ve been going through a rough stretch with my mental health. I wasn’t sure whether to say anything, but with June being Men’s Mental He

I assumed he meant due for a hidden gem UDFA WR. Which seems ambitious since outside of a consensus top-end guy like Smith we haven't even been able to draft good ones.

How soon we forget Paul Turner and Hank Baskett!!!

I meant that more from an offensive playmaker standpoint. We've had all the Paul Turner's and Henry Josey's as of late. Would be great if Cooper can turn in to a player of substance.

Ben VanSuperman!

Don't think Campbell will be playing Friday. Wonder how many guys are gonna sit. Dotson probably doesn't even play either.

I would say Jordan matthews wasn't a bad 3 for where he was drafted

Are we all forgetting about the legend of Travis Fulgham just like that? I think he used up all our gem power in those 5 magical weeks.

For the people who refuse to believe Cooper could be good, this is the best comparison.

Fulgham had the physical ability, but (allegedly) had a bad attitude and didn’t play STs. Cooper is constantly praised for his personality and apparently is working in with the top STs units.

I don’t know why it’s so controversial to think Cooper has WR3/4 upside. None of those UDFA/scrap heap darlings of yesteryear had a profile as well-rounded as Cooper’s seems to be. Put your Paul Turner trauma away.

Huh?

You must be thinking of someone else. Jordan Matthews was a high 2nd round pick... and was taken before Davante Adams and Allen Robinson. You must be thinking of someone else, because Jordan Matthews is a guy that I would consider a borderline bust here.

What's strange is that his scouting reports coming in to the NFL were that he needs to be a press corner playing man. I think he's just a lost cause to be honest. No CB, no safety. he's a ST player.

The press corner was a bit lazy based on his size as much as anything. Frankly, ST only would get him cut.

Chance Campbell will absolutely be playing. whistle

Jordan Matthews was a 2nd round pick. The 42nd pick in the draft. Davante Adams was the 53rd pick in that same draft.

Please keep Cooper as the 5 or 6 WR. Please!

I’m keeping him as the 4 WR

Jalen Reagor wasn't bad for where he was drafted

Ringo and APR are my two biggest disappointments during camp. I thought for sure that Ringo was going to shine now that he had the chance and I was certain that APR was going to be a steal. I haven't heard APR's name once. Coming in third is Lewis Cine. I didn't think he'd blow the doors off and be a starter, but I thought he had a chance. Sucks that he's got nothing left.

I’m with you on all three.

It used to be starters don’t play, we don’t even play are backups!

Get Mukuba back to health.

Start Bennett at CB2.

And crush Dallas in Week 1.

Put the NFL on notice.

44-6 LFG!

Chance was with the team before? Or adding a new player?

Judging from reports, Cooper will make roster as WR and ST.

OL depth may be tested with the injuries to the starters. It is lesser a concern with Stoutland to direct the group.

CB2 is not clear yet. Couple of guys are in the mix. Ringo seems to lose his position on the depth chart. The trade for Bennett looks like a pre-empted move to address the situation.

Pretty sure Howie will be busy going thru the cut lists of other teams. Signing/claiming players like he did before.

A measured take by Berman. There were doubts about the defense at this time last year.

Eagles finish Top 10 in Total Defense.

Or I streak up through the quad to the gymnasium.

You've been looking for an excuse to do that anyway!

alright...enough already, some wealthy DAL fan needs to hire a hitman to take out the whole damn family so there are none of the Arkansas, three tooth, bib overall wearing, Jones' family left to run the organization. Enough is enough.

Easy now. Let's talk about this calmly. You don't like what Jerrah has done to your favorite franchise. We love what he's done and how they are a laughingstock of the league now, and the best part is... he doesn't even realize it. That 8 part series will be hilarious about how they have been dismantled from what they once were.

Now... rather than turning to murder, let's discuss this rationally. What's the middle ground here?

Some thoughts:

Green reminds me of that Alabama guard who was also a 1st rd pick, big college G who tested badly and was exposed at the NHL level. I'm just skeptical of OL who don't do well on Cone, SS, and jumps - agility and leg explosion are keys, 40 time who cares, OL don't run 40 yards in shorts

The secondary is in flux, but you have 3 excellent starters, so we only need to get two other players to be "average," not world beaters.

While DL depth took a blow, the LBs are incredibly athletic with Smith - Campbell - Baun - Hunt, with Trotter and Mondon on the bench and Dean possibly returning at some point. So I think Fangio can make the front seven work.

They can get by rotating in Hall and Robinson playing wtih Carter, Davis and Ojomo, but they're more vulnerable to injuries.

But no one has stepped up to fill the end role in the 4-2-5 if they give Smith/Hunt a breather or if they're nicked. Campbell could move outside at some point, but that's asking a lot from a rookie to master a new position on the fly.

The offense? They're coming in waves this season. People are sleeping on them but they can go I formation with a true FB, 2 TE, 3 WR, 4 WR and have solid players at every spot - good luck game planning against them.

They can put together a game plan every week customized for that opponent, pound them with Barkley and Dillon, or short passing game to Shipley, Doston/Cooper/Goedert or attack downfield.

The two vulernabilities are depth on the OL and Goedert, Calcaterra and Granson aren't in line blockers so you lose a bit in the run game if Goedert is out.
