How soon we forget Paul Turner and Hank Baskett!!!

Easy now. Let's talk about this calmly. You don't like what Jerrah has done to your favorite franchise. We love what he's done and how they are a laughingstock of the league now, and the best part is... he doesn't even realize it. That 8 part series will be hilarious about how they have been dismantled from what they once were.

Now... rather than turning to murder, let's discuss this rationally. What's the middle ground here?

Damn. I was looking forward to seeing him progress this year. Wonder if they bring in another TE. Thought they might use Wilson in a hybrid role

Now everyone really hates Toth

Time for people to dramatically adjust their expectations for the season.

Surgery to both knee and ankle? That must have been a vicious injury.

I'm kind of confused why the OL depth is so bad. The Eagles have Jeff Stoutland and have been doing an incredible job at identifying talent as of late. How can their depth be so poor?

Kendall Lamm hasn't shown to be an upgrade over Fred Johnson. Give me Big Fred 10 out of 10 times. He was a terrific locker room guy too.

Kenyon Green is a bust.

Brett Toth is the Jaggiest of JAGS but the Eagles love him.

Matt Pryor says you think Toth is a JAG, look at me!

Darian Kinnard might be...serviceable?

Myles Hinton has potential, but you have to reallly squint to see it. He looks like garbage most of the time.

Drew Kendall looks to be their best backup OL at this point. I like his potential.

Trevor Keegan can't seem to figure it out. I thought he was an eventual starter, but he's advancing as I thought.

Cameron Williams yikes.

Hollin Pierce might be PS material at best.

Maybe 2-3 guys worth keeping if that.

I questioned the same things months ago in here, wasn't received to well. But yeah, it is disappointing and I for one am not happy with it.

Sucks for Wilson but they will be fine. That Metchie trade looks even better now.

AJ, Smitty, Dotson, Metchie, Cooper, Smith (possibly on the PS)

Could be the TO injury. Maisonneuve fracture.

He can still sit in a chair and work with a JUGS machine

I wonder if it's not a "true" season ending injury, but one that would keep him out like 2 months and they figure at that point they might as well just IR him.

I feel sorry for the guy (Wilson) but I just don’t think he’s ever going to be more than a fringe player in the league, a guy who will look intriguing because of his size. He’s just so awkward trying to catch a football. Even his one "impressive” catch against the Bengals was a ball that he bobbled and somehow kinda fell back into his arms.

I didn’t even have him penciled in on my tentative 53.

I don’t know why people obsess over making Wilson a TE. That’s not his game at all. You want him out wide on an island against a corner he’s got 6 inches on.

I think he has a career as a role player. He's an excellent blocker and a mismatch with his height. Probably plays for like 4 teams in 7 years after his rookie contract type of thing.

Yeah he had some issue with his hands and I seriously doubt this affects the Eagles outlook much at all, but I appreciate any skill position player putting the effort into blocking that Wilson did last year. Really sucks for the kid. I hope he recovers smoothly and can get back at it next year.

When I first joined the boards (around 2007), all the hype was finding a tall WR to throw fades to. People back then would be losing it over the Johnny Wilson injury.

That being said I don’t think he’ll ever amount to anything more than a WR 5/TE 3.

So who is the best blocker between Cooper, Metchie and Ainias?

Ainias is a sneaky good blocker for his size, at least in college, but I haven’t really gotten to see Cooper and Metchie.

He was WR 4 on this team…

That’s his role. Excellent blocker off the bench and gives you an instant size mismatch.

The blocking ability you mentioned is why he is seen as someone who could help out in a TE type role.

We'll never find out precisely what the injuries are either. Competitive advantage for a guy who won't be seen until 2026.

Big redzone WR and shifty speed back. Thank god we've had enough Pumphreys and Green-Beckhams since then to stop all that nonsense.

Dotson and Metchie are 3 and 4.

Wilson may have even been 6 after Cooper.

I imagine if you need a surgery to repair both your knee and ankle that you aren't coming back in 2 months.

Regarding your last paragraph, was Hurts actually inconsistent? The run-centric game plans reduced his passing statistics, as did the substantial margins the Eagles built up on the scoreboard, but do reduced passing statistics mean he was inconsistent?

Also they didn't really have a #3 WR, Dotson really didn't mesh until the playoffs, Goedert missed a lot of time, and Shipley was a rookie with limited PT.

While it may be a little downgrade from Becton to Steen, otherwise WR is much deeper, Shipley is showing he's more dynamic than Gainwell and Dillon gives them a power back to take the load off Barkely.

Watch out for VanSumeran, not only does he give them a true blocking FB, bu he's athletic with speed and a good route runner - he may be a "secret weapon" that other DCs don't game plan for, sneaking out of the backfield.

Sucks for Wilson. Howie saw the future it seems.
