He turns 29 in December. Maybe he won’t age out, but we might not want to pay him going into his age 31 season.

I’m somewhat of a fan. I think Cracker Barrel provides a solid breakfast for travelers in a clean, pleasant environment. It also has a nice gift area to browse while waiting. Their candy selection at the counter when paying the bill is first rate. I love getting tootsie rolls and mints whenever we stop on our trips through PA.

The country store is the best part about CB, and I could be mistaken, but I think part of their rebrand is to get rid of that. THAT is a mistake. There's a nice bit of nostalgia buying those candies and sodas there as well as other things you don't think you need, but sometimes make a quick easy gift. The identity of CB was a wrap around porch, rocking chairs with a country store and down home cooking. I couldn't tell you the last time I ate there, but if I made plans to do so, I'd go hoping for that experience.

Isnt that pretty much the exact scenario that could be avoided by playing Cooper on the outside?

It could, and the positives at Boundary CB2 would be real, but at the same time the negatives at Nickel CB would also be real. The question is which of those two realities is more real.

For me the answer is clear, but others may disagree.

We go camping as a family with friends so usually stop at CB on the way back. Always hits the spot after roughing it. And very friendly too.

They were out of Good N Plenty and Circus Peanuts I guess

I don't know that Cracker Barrel was ever a "going out" destination or is likely to be. I hope they don't make the mistake that Sears made with their "softer side of Sears" campaign.

It’s the place you go for comfort food while outlet shopping. No one makes it a going out destination.

Well, maybe if you live in NEPA.

No candy corn or Werther’s Originals left either?

He was WR 4 on this team…

That’s his role. Excellent blocker off the bench and gives you an instant size mismatch.

Thats just rationalizing a bad wr

I bet it does after a few days of eating freeze dried food. I was freezing last weekend (low 40s at night) and would have loved real food.

Actually, we cook on the camp fire for 12+ people, breakfast and dinner. Very good. But after 3-5 days in the elements, canoeing by the day, to have someone serve a hot meal with a smile is a treat. And CB has a big menu so you can order what you want. Kids love it and we chow.

Truth.

Have not been to one in probably 6 years, but this rebranding will be the nail for them.

For the record, chicken and dumplings, chicken fried steak, fried okra, and hashbrown casserole were always on point.

Absolutely. I get it. That's quite the group to cook for over a fire.

This channel is fantastic.

The things that Lurie decides to spend his limited funds on. At least it will make people like Les Bowen and Bo Wulf happy.

Thank you. Will check it out. We are fortunate to camp with some hardcore campers so have learned a lot. The only rule really is everyone has to pitch in and help out since we are many and the kids are always hungry. Been all over FLA and have seen some beautiful pristine sites. A privilege.

Non-American content thief is trying to stir up the American culture war. Awful that this guy has a platform.

Watching the entire thing i thought Chris jones was the best interviewer in terms of being realistic with his thoughts throughout the documentary and most down to earth of all of them. I also thought spags and Reid came off well. I also thought the bunker where they kept all their team memorabilia from the start of their existence til now was pretty cool.

Just watch some replays of all of Jalen's tush pushing from last season if this isn't your thing. Not everything about football has to be for you.

It's rare I ever went there for anything other than breakfast. Their hashbrown casserole was pretty damn good, but most everything else I ever got was good, but not to die for. I never minded going there.
