Only 3 short months ago he said he felt great and wanted to finish out his contract, said he's not even thinking about it. Talk about acceleration. This is going to be front and center the most important off season move now. Would've been very helpful if Lane did play the next couple years like he said. We could've concentrated on DE, CB, TE maybe RB and OG. Now this jumps in front of all of those...

Yes. He felt great in May. At the end of Training Camp he’s singing a different tune. This is normal for older guys. It doesn’t necessarily mean anything one way or the other.

This is why most older guys sign late into the season and avoid the grind.

Lane is doing a massive turnaround from what he was saying earlier this preseason. He originally said he feels great and retirement was no where on his mind and he wanted to finish out his contract which is multiple years down the road. Now he's talking about the end of this year? What the hell happened?!?!

Clearly Lurie can’t pay his contract beyond this year

Maybe maybe not. They could trade for one or maybe one of the late round guys shows promise. Hopefully, Howie drafts the BPA between the two spots.

Williams doesn't deserve a spot but they may need to carry him so they can work with him to see how he progresses vs stashing him on IR

I’m going to enjoy crushing these guys twice this season.

Always so negative. Lane is a legend. The team has known of the need to find & develop a replacement, they've been drafting Tackles. Next offseason they may accelerate the search if the guys on the roster aren't it. These players get to this level and toy with the idea of retiring over seasons. Kelce did that too. Howie & the coaches will handle it.

Why do you think Lurie has to resort to 3! MALE cheerleaders?? Cutting costs wherever he can.

Could be Lurie pushing him out in a money saving move.

Where is @RememberTheKoy when we need him to debunk these ridiculous Lurie money rumors?

Limited funds, or so I hear.

Why Eagles could be trade fit for QB bust

Would Eagles entertain trading for this QB bust?

Jerrah refused to negotiate with Parson's agent.

Now he has to negotiate with the agent.

He says "we are sending over an offer sheet"

The agent says "It wont have anything we would accept yet"

... Jerrah runs and cries to the media.

Please don't die!

They don't necessarily HAVE to get Lane's replacement from a top 10 pick.

Yep. The team is strong enough to send a 1st + if necessary. Obviously I can’t say that’s likely but they have the foundation and the assets to do another Peters like trade.

The country store is the best part about CB, and I could be mistaken, but I think part of their rebrand is to get rid of that. THAT is a mistake. There's a nice bit of nostalgia buying those candies and sodas there as well as other things you don't think you need, but sometimes make a quick easy gift. The identity of CB was a wrap around porch, rocking chairs with a country store and down home cooking. I couldn't tell you the last time I ate there, but if I made plans to do so, I'd go hoping for that experience.

From what I have seen of the new interior, the restaurant looks like an old time, local sit down home style restaurant from the South. Haven’t seen any indication the Country Store is going away. In fact they intend to keep Uncle Herschel as part of their branding.

As a blocking TE?

I thought guys generally got paid more than girls for the same job ……

Words to live by …

"I tell young players and anyone else coming to Philadelphia … We're just leasing this jersey. It's a rental for us. At the end of the day, at the end of the season, we go home and live our normal lives. When we retire, we go back and do what we want to do. Those fans are going to be there for that next generation of players [who are] putting on that uniform — with that same passion, with those same demands.

"It's a family. You can talk about your family, talk about your mom, dad, brother, whatever. But if somebody else does it, then they're in trouble. That's why I wanted to get the point across. They're going to be hard on you. Don't be soft. Don't let it get to you. No, they want the best. They don't hate you. They don't want to see you do bad. It's like, 'Why can't you do better?' And we play in a sport that's full of failure. We accept that within ourselves, within our group. The fans will never accept that. They're there to see you do one thing; that's win. … I always remember: They want to be entertained, and there's nothing more entertaining than winning."

No. As Becton’s replacement at RG.

Keegan would probably be more accurate with the football. Richardson is garbage, and has been ever since his freshman year at Florida playing RB while occasionally throwing the ball.

Is he a 50% passer in the NFL? That’s WITH Steichen coaching him.

As a future Howie trade for more picks.

Trade TM for a first so they get a DE and OT in RD1. Howie has it all figured out.

He is more like JaMarcus Russell than Daniel Jones.

He was last in completion % by 12.7%

He was last in passer rating by 17.8

Last in interception %

34 of 36 in TD %

25th in yards per attempt

He was not a rookie.

The Colts desperately need a QB. Richardson is not an NFL QB.

I wouldn’t trade for him even if he had more intriguing upside than he’s shown. His quitting on the team moment has red flags that talent can’t overcome.

You mean in May when he wasn't beating himself up in TC staring down another potential 22 or so weeks of this punishment?

Yes I think that was what he meant.
