What’s up, guys? I’ve been quiet on here lately. The truth is, I’ve been going through a rough stretch with my mental health. I wasn’t sure whether to say anything, but with June being Men’s Mental He

The most interesting part of the game is who doesn’t have to play

Yes. He felt great in May. At the end of Training Camp he’s singing a different tune. This is normal for older guys. It doesn’t necessarily mean anything one way or the other.

This is why most older guys sign late into the season and avoid the grind.

With Lane, I don't think training camp has anything to do with the decision. He'll still be training when he retires because that is something he enjoys. It sounds like he intends to get into coaching at some point after retiring (maybe after a few years).

It doesn't matter what career you have, there will always be sacrifices made. For NFL players, it may not always be possible to get Christmas or Thanksgiving off or go to church regularly. But it does provide other opportunities like the financial ability to do things that many people can't afford to do. When football players discuss the sacrifices they make, they don't usually bring up how they have basically get almost half a year to spend extra time with their families. There are a lot of people that work year round and maybe only get those holidays to really be with their families.

He was asked what factors affect that decision to retire. Did they ask him what factors keep football appealing?

Last year Nolan Smith played a ton in the preseason and everybody assumed it meant he was disappointing and not living up to his potential. He played 19 snaps in the 3rd preseason game. Huff, Ringo and D. White were among those that had the day off.

No worries. No one to get excited about will be playing any way.

That was all meaningful at the time. Smith was disappointing and the others were thought to be key players/backups. Obviously things can change but it tells you the current standing

Huff and D. White didn’t just take the day off, they basically took the entire season off…

Smith had a very strong preseason. He was just out there working on his game.

1) Jameis is a treasure

2) Why are pundits **** over Dart's performance when he completed 50% of his passes and a fumble 😆

Clearly Lurie can’t pay his contract beyond this year

Gold stand my @zz. Howie can't manage the money anymore. He needs to bring back Joe Banner.

Ah yes, can't wait for Connor Williams to slide right into RT, seamless transition, we're fine there fellas.

For me the most interesting part of the game is the folks I’ll be watching it with. Back in Philly from Nor Cal for the week.

Haven’t seen any indication the Country Store is going away. In fact they intend to keep Uncle Herschel as part of their branding.

The last time I was there - a few months ago - Uncle Herschel's breakfast was history.

I've never been to a Cracker Barrel, but some of the comments I saw when looking out of genuine curiosity at all the fuss ,was that the menus have had a redo in some areas. And inevitably, some people were unhappy about it.

TBF, when I saw the photos online weeks ago, I thought the remodel looked like a quick Gordon Ramsay Kitchen Nightmares one but nothing out of the ordinary for modern franchises - it looked cheap, minimalistic and very generic.. Only when I saw what they used to look like, did I understand why there has been a furore. CB looks like it was a brand with charm, not a brand of bland.

Who will Howie trade for a low round draft choice in the next few days? My guess would be

DTR

Kenyon Green

Or

Trevor Keegan

1 - Meh.

2 - NY.

Theyj'll play younger guys who won't get snaps in the regular season so they have some game experience.

Guys like Mondon, Cooper, etc. Who'll be stashed at the end of the roster but won't dress on game day barring injuries.

And the ST guys who don't generally get many snaps during the season.

The rest are the bubble guys, who are auditioning for a PS spot. If you don't play until the 4th Q tonight, odds are you'll never be heard from again.

I don’t think he will get any offers for Green. Probably none for DT-R either. Keegan possibly.

If he is lucky he might be able to move one of the WRs.

what about both teams fans spelling their teams names over and over again? Think we're the only two teams that do that

Cooper may end up as a decent STs contributor.

I didn't watch the game but if you watch these pass plays he was right on the money almost all his passes. Most were dropped on pretty impressive throws. He did have a lot of time early in the game.

Some of us don’t watch Eagles football solely for the opponent’s social media aura, you disrespectful swine

I've seen that guy. He is fantastic.

I started watching his channel a few years ago and have made a few of his recipes. As a Texan who eats Mexican food two to three times a week this tamale pie recipe is easy and very good.
