What’s up, guys? I’ve been quiet on here lately. The truth is, I’ve been going through a rough stretch with my mental health. I wasn’t sure whether to say anything, but with June being Men’s Mental He

Imo I always thought Cameron Williams and Hinton were going to take time to be competent NFL players. I thought the first year was you just get them learning from Stoutland and building for a larger role in 2026. Year two is where you expect them to start being competent backups. then year three you hope maybe one of them made the jump to being a starter. to me they were always more of future guys. Whereas Kendall felt more like he was a limited ceiling but high floor and could be ready to play center a rookie if need be

Does seem like we need another piece on the o-line. Looks like we may be relying on Toth again too. Guy has like nine lives.

Agreed.

Toth could leave the team this minute and no one would even notice.

OL Depth is poor for the Birds, right now. We all love and respect Couch Stout, but, there's only so much he can do with the scraps that he's been given.

Rap sheet: QB Tanner McKee suffered a fractured thumb, per The Insiders, that will bring his availability for Week 1 in question.

Not a major injury for the clear-cut No. 2, as it’s just the top of the thumb. The Sam Howell trade likely would’ve happened anyway.

Is the Sam Howell trade as much about next season as it is this season? Some team doesn't get a QB in the 2026 draft and trades for McKee. Howie already has a #2 on the roster. Chess & checkers.

Only if he resigns him. His contract is up at the end of they year, but he gets a year for the coaches to kick the tires on him.

Given that Jurgens has some health issues - back I believe - the backup center is pretty important. I don't hate Toth as a guard but as a center please no. Centers have to be able to snap reliably and Toth has demonstrated he can't.

I didn't know that. Howell is young enough to want another shot at starting. He's not likely to get it in Philly. Of course just because he wants a shot at starting doesn't mean he'll get it. Time will tell.

Hinton was the Eagles worst player in the preseason. Raw, but still.

I'm not sure it's him, but they could sure use a swing tackle. Shame they couldn't keep Fred Johnson.

They could have. He signed a vested veteran minimum contract.

Yeah, I'm sure they had reasons, but I thought he filled in alright. Valuable guy to have.

You mean the team that's currently tied for the 2nd WC position? 🤔

Ok. And?

Practice squad? Browns or somebody else's? I wonder if our friend Jerruh has seen this?

The Browns aren't going anywhere this year no matter the QB. If I were them I'd go with Flacco then keep Gabriel and Sanders. Pickett is a waste of time. Let Flacco start. Once they start the year 1-5 or whatever then let Gabriel and Sanders play and see what they have in them.

No matter how the Browns spin it they are going to suck this year. Might as well play the young guys.

So great to have Alvarado back creating a bases loaded, no outs situation.

Howell had kind of a rough time with the Vikings, but I love the profile for a QB3: only 24, 18 starts, legit NFL talent, has had some huge games. A miracle 2-3 game stretch is a possibility, especially with the talent the Eagles have.

I think Hinton is the only late pick that they carry the rest go

I have Hinton and Kinnard as the two inactive OL. Active are the five starters plus Kendall, Pryor and probably Toth. Keegan and Williams to PS. I think Lamm is cut.

I think McWillaims sticks over Ricks. Ricks might go PS. I think Brandon Johnson makes the PS.

I think Mondon sticks.

APR always struck me as a PS guy.

Nothing I have read of Kubena’s stuff convinces me he has any sources with the team. Good that the Athletic hired Berman.

Guessing someone claims him?

EJ said this guy is a starter level QB in the league. Anyone who pays for PHLY is a sucker.

He had a nice preseason game 3. Invisible other than that. These preseason grades are silly with guys going against non nfl players

Not sure I'd go this far, but still annoyed the Eagles took Ainias with him on the board. Feels like they merely took Ainias because they liked his upside as a returner(Malik can return too). Ainias was just a bad pick, no getting around it.

Worst is hyperbole and not even accurate for the OL. Plenty of mistakes but not waste bending and grabbing like Williams. Did you see Vakalahi, Green or Keegan. Thought Hinton outplayed all four of those.

Yup many of us knew that was the wrong pick

Yeah, they promised deep dives on training camp and then regurgitated the same deal as everywhere else. Not to mention Bo just annoys me with his cheesy attempts at humor.
