Kenyon Green waived. No surprise, he's bad.

It’ll be interesting to see if he goes to the PS. I’d rather have him than Keegan.

Another one

@LeanMeanGM , I snorted some glue and need to be brought back to earth.

What’s to stop a team from letting a player walk, gain a 6th round comp pick and then trading for them for a 7th?

Well the team that signed him for 5mil or so which is 6th rd level would need to want to trade him for a 7th

How much guaranteed though?

BVS isn't just a "jack of all trades."
He's a solid blocker at FB, but also is a good route runner with speed to do damage in the open field - I think they want to use him as the "secret weapon" this season.

How often have you seen a 2nd TE or FB make big plays against the Eagles b/c the defense tends to overlook them?

Since he's a good ST player, getting a half dozen plays out of him is a bonus.

Plus, given the league's move to faster, smaller defenses to combat the short passing game, running out of the I with a FB and a power back like Barkley puts a lot of stress on undersized defenses.

Lurie is singing praise to the FB position. With the support of owner, this is as good as done, what BVS brings to the table notwithstanding.

Guess Williams will be cut then

This is just Twitter dorks who think they're film experts. Lane's replacement will be a 1st round OT(2nd round at worst). If anyone thinks Howie will allow Hinton to be his replacement, they are on crack.

The disrespect! I bet Tanner won't even be in the top 5.

Unless there is some obscure rule, which there may be, I suppose nothing is stopping them other than that scenario just being extremely unlikely.

I guess that's why Andre Dillard is now our starting left tackle.

Maybe Stoutland is experimenting with gene splicing in his offtime.

You just described a jack of all trades. "Solid blocker", "Good route runner", "Good ST player". He has more than one area he is good to solid but not an elite to excellent talent at any of them.

There wasn't a different Texans player we could've targeted on that CJ trade? A little disappointing there.

Yup. our starting LT was a 7th round pick who never played football before us drafting him and took him a couple years to get on the field. I’d add Jason peters was also a UDFA coming into the league (granted we traded for him after bills helped develop him)

Yeah Howie's had his misses but he keeps firing and has had big hits so we move on

I know someone said it McMullen said something about Walker. Kracz also Mentioning him and jaelan Phillips

He actually mentioned Phillips as well, but then said he's been injured.

Someone yesterday or this morning posted Howie's august trade haul this year and its quite impressive.

The hat trick yesterday kinda made me loose sight of the fact that he also brought in Bennett, and Metchie this month as well.

On top of that, 4 draft picks went out, but 2 have come back. So minimal draft picks have been spent in all of these trades so far.

Can see Bennett starting at CB sooner than later this season. Metchie would certainly have a role even as a WR4 in most offenses. Hoping Hurts throws him the ball this year. He should be an impact player on the season. Howell is a nice get.

These August trades are almost like a whole free agency period for this team.
