I'm not wasting a PS spot on McCord. He didn't look good. Nothing about his game made me say it's worth keeping him. I'd be more excited to watch this years crop of college QBs play and try again next year.

They can do both.

What’s up, guys? I’ve been quiet on here lately. The truth is, I’ve been going through a rough stretch with my mental health. I wasn’t sure whether to say anything, but with June being Men’s Mental He

Hopefully Ricks makes it to the PS. I like that dude, not sure why, but I do.

Sweet. Good thing it only cost us one of our starting safeties.

That starting Safety was traded for the WR Metchie. Green was an ancillary part of that trade. Green was effectively traded for the TE Bryant.

I think Ricks is ok. Might be as good as Ringo but not really sure it makes much difference if he’s on PS or not. Brandon Johnson makes sense there as a developing nickel

CJ is also injured now if we want to Monday morning QB the trade.

Paint chips. I have a sweet tooth

McCord has the college record and shows enough flashes to spend a year on the PS, then decide if he has enough upside to keep around.

On the other hand, Ricks regressed in his 3rd TC, lacks speed, and the fact he hasn't sharpened his technique or instincts says there's little more to squeeze out of him. Bye bye.

Makes more sense to stash Nickerson as a break glass option.

Ricks will go on and become a player in this league for another team just like Rasul Douglas did.

I seriously doubt that, 4.6 speed and lack of instincts, he was consistently arriving late all pre-season, can't run with NFL WRs deep and lacks the explosive burst of a good zone CB.

Hard not to like. Worked hard to get on the team, plays alright for a backup, good on ST. Philly type of player. Right move but it's sad.

It's crazy that the Eagles didn't see Thomas R Petersens tweets to make a better decision about Ricks

Maybe they were too distracted by his muppet like appearance.

No reason not to try and land McCord on the practice squad. It wasn't there for him right out of the gate, but clearly the Eagles liked him enough to draft him.

Same with Ricks. Can't imagine teams are out there chomping at the bit to sign him.

Ricks might want a change of scenery. McCord should stay. He could make roster next year if he develops

The only way I'm even considering that trade is if the Bengals pay his 2025 salary. That's never happening, so a no-go.

Who’s our money on for the edge trade?

Arny from the Falcons

With Ricks gone, does this mean they will carry Jackson, Ringo, and Bennett?

Or hear me out, they could've made a better move with GJ and did the Metchie trade anyway.

GJ was moved for the pick more than anything and Green was a throw in. Still a bad trade given that half of our secondary is a question mark as of now.

I just don't see it with Ricks. Never have. He was also clearly outplayed by Nickerson. I'd rather keep Nickerson on the PS than Ricks. Both are maxed out already, and Nickerson is just better.
