Flacco is better. Pickett is no future at QB for any team. Didn't make sense for them to keep him the moment they drafted two QBs. Him being traded was inevitable.

Browns will be drafting earlier than the Saints next April. I’ll take Shough and Rattler over Sanders and Gabriel, 8 days a week. That looks like a tank move by the Browns, but you know it’s not deliberate because, Cleveland being Cleveland, they chose to draft Shedeur after already overdrafting Gabriel.

If Flacco gets injured before Week 6 put me down for CLE going winless the rest of the way.

Chickenman can do what Kenny P did last year as a spot starter. Losing Hurts might prove fatal, but a lack of pass rush will have a similar result against the better teams. DE3 isn’t just depth, it’s a quasi starter that can play 50%+ of the defensive snaps in the rotation even before accounting for injury.

Not on the Eagle defense this season.

Both Baun and Campbell can move outside.

Huff 285 snaps, Graham 311 (but a lot were inside on passing downs), Hunt 241 last season. And Smith only started 10 games.

Hunt 2.5 sacks, 3 hurries, 4 hits, Hunt 1.5 sacks, 2 hurries, 3 hits, Graham 3.5 sacks, 11 hurries, 9 hits

So it's really about Hunt replacing Sweat, 8 sacks, 2 hurries, 15 hits.

Hunt probably won't match those numbers b/c he'll drop into coverage a lot more, with Baun, Campbell, Trotter et al blitzing the A gap more this season.

Whoa! How impressive!

They traded away 3 players for a 2026 5th and 2027 6th!

Executive of the year. Howie only dreams of this.

Bryce Huff was supposed to be the 3rd guy in the rotation. He was largely replaced by BG, and if you add their snaps together that’s over 50%. The goal of the trade isn’t just to get a guy out there eating snaps, but better performance then Ojulari/Uche and maybe better than Nolan/Jalyx.

😬, I like YT TV but the main reason I have it is because I can’t get my OTA antenna to work for the Eagles.

Flacco is a very good QB. What he did in the playoffs from 2010-2014 is amazing with 24 TDs to 4 picks.

He won a real Super Bowl MVP on merit, not a Namath or Peyton Manning popularity vote.

He should have made a second SB but he got the 1998 Vikings treatment with a game winning TD knocked out of his WRs hands after the catch followed by a chip shot shank.

He went throw for throw with Brady in Foxborough in 3 playoff games.

He had a better playoff peak than Rodgers or Manning.

He can still sling it.

He is 40 though and you don't want Dillion Gabriel surrounded by psychopaths with pitchforks starting in week 6.

Browns end up netting a small profit from acquiring Pickett. Probably would've been better off just keeping him and never drafting Sanders, but still...

Didn't we also trade him for a 5th?

No. I'll keep hunt and find another way to get hendrickson.

I’d keep Hunt and not even try to get Hendrickson. Not saying he couldn’t help the team…but his contract is not what they need right now

Edit…doesn’t matter anyway. I’m late to the news today and just saw TH signed…

Tank for Arch

Arch will stay at Texas if the Browns pick #1

That or he will explain to them that he will go to the Saints at 2 or back to school.

He has zero money pressure.

I would imagine you could still potentially trade for him. Its a 1 year deal that increases his salary this year to 30 million. He is a free agent after the season, so if they want to get something for him...

Any interest in Layden Robinson who was released by Patriots?

Layden Robinson was drafted in round 4 pick 103 in the 2024 draft class. He scored a 8.19 #RAS out of a possible 10.00. This ranked 287 out of 1583 OG from 1987 to 2024.

everybody wants to be Howie but they aren’t

I would be on the horn with Deandre Carter's agent. He's basically older Britain Covey.

Carter can return kicks and that’s become more important. Covey never really did both. Not sure he can well

I’d pass. Unless the plan is to put Greg Lewis as the PR

Everything I’m seeing has him tied to the Saints or Colts. Arch and Peyton’s teams. I feel like he’ll go somewhere else and build his own legacy.

I could see a team like Jax being terrible. But that's also a terrible place to go

Was the Lions’ 5th, I’m assuming the Raiders traded their own 5th.

There will definitely be some teams the Mannings won’t allow him to go to. I’m sure Cleveland and Jax are on that list.

The cardinals could be a team if Murray doesn’t get any better. Could also see a team like the Bears giving up on Williams early on.

Arch to the Saints or Colts makes too much sense next draft. Crazy how those two are the most QB hungry teams right now.

Unless a surprise team trades their way to the top <cough Rams>
