Depends on how much higher you think that upside is for Covey. If its that he might average a yard more per punt return, be fragile and not be able to return Kickoffs... then yes, very reasonable.

Eh, I think you get safety plus upside with Covey at PR. You can throw pretty much any RB back there at KR and get something passable. A liability at PR can lose you games; a dynamic PR can win you games. I'd run it back with Covey and try to replace him again next year.

Rams haven't released their 53 but Covey hasn't shown up as cut yet.

If YouTubeTV and Fox do not get their contract crap figured out I am going to be switching from YouTubeTV to Hulu Live! Deadline is Wednesday (tomorrow) at 5:00pm from what I have been reading. Best opening weekend (full weekend) of college games in quite some time, and Texas/Ohio St are slated to be on Fox. I can't imagine that they do not get something resolved before the NFL opens the saeson the following weekend. It wouldn't be the opening of football season without some TV broadcasting drama.

In a way, I guess it’s comforting that the Rams waived McMahon too. It kinda shows that if the Eagles give up on an OL prospect, it’s probably with good reason.
