That's one play that, by your admission, was a great play by the defense and not an unforced error. It can't be both because saying Mahomes crapped the bed (i.e. played like crap) takes away what the defense did because "oh the QB just crapped the bed".

Cometely agree. Mahomes didnt play poorly. We didn't allow him to play well.

They used one of their first three picks to fill a hole in the roster that existed independent of Ojomo. If you don't agree that you overplay the "unproven" card, I can't help you. As I said it is your MO. Instead of advocating for running out to "fix" your concern by getting a "proven" DT to add to the roster, you could sit back and watch how the situation evolves. That isn't you though

I never advocated for running out to getting a proven DT. So you are not correct there. I've never not advocated for watching how the situation at DT evolves.

Of course it can. The implication that a bad mistake by the offense never necessitates a great play by the defense to capitalize on it is bizarre. The inverse is true as well, when Jared Verse looped inside and left his gap open, Barkley still had to make a perfectly timed jump cut to bounce outside and maintain his acceleration to take advantage of it and make a house call. It's a complex sport, I don't understand your need to oversimplify it and say either an offense made a mistake or a defense made a great play, but never both. It's like we're watching two different sports.

Did they cut him before camp? I have like zero memory of this dude.

I think Davis and Carter are the starters

Ojomo out-snapped Davis by a significant margin in the playoffs. I don't see any reason why that would change between now and Week 1.

Teams typically run on early downs.

What weight is Ty Robinson going to play at? Combine he was 288 but at Nebraska he was supposedly 310-315

Not sure he was ever that big but I think he will be closer to 300 than 288.

Depends on what condition Davis is in. Surprised nothing has come out about the existing players condition now that the are into the second part of Phase 1. Suspect that will change when they go into Phase 2. Beats continue to slip in their reporting.

No, he was here for one year but on the PS. The. He went to the Chiefs for a year or two after.

Yea but Davis is such a vital part of the defense with his very limited snaps. Plus he's buddies with Carter

I always love to browse team pages to see rookies in their gear. Reminds me how piss poor the Eagles site is but that's not the point of this. I was knocking the Steelers depth chart on offense, but Kaleb Johnson is more likely than not going to turn in to the real deal for them. Dude is rocked up. 6-1 225. Reminds me of how Amos Zereoue was built. Granted, he was only 5-8 and maybe it's just the number 20, but he looks similar in stature.

They had a pretty darn good RB who looks fairly ordinary in their talentless offense. I love Kaleb and think he will be good, but he would be so much better elsewhere.

FYI without an attribution to @mattwill your signature looks delusional.

Yeah…that is what Dallas needs most. Improved run D. And run O too.

A lot rests on Mazi and Guyton developing. I’d be nervous if I were a ‘boys fan….nothing else really matters

Big if true.

@just relax Rather than hash out who the best QBs are, since we haven’t had one of these discussions in a while, Wilmer McClean is an obscure name in American history but his houses aren’t. Should I tell the story?

Wow, I really messed that up. In my defense, I did start celebrating the weekend a little too early.

I'm so happy I mostly browse EMB on my phone so I don't have to see any of your dumb signatures.
