I’m all for players chirping and adding layers to the game. Jared Verse is one of the bigger Philly villains for doing just that. So let the Lions puff their chest.

Of course this is assuming it’s mostly harmless and talk more than anything. When players like Luvu start playing dirty it becomes a problem.

I just want to know which one of you wrote this letter to Verse: https://www.si.com/nfl/rams-jared-verse-priceless-reaction-eagles-fan-writing-him-super-nice-letter

Washington seemed to deal with it just fine. 🤷‍♂️ I guess it would have been possible for the Eagles to do that same thing.

I’m not suggesting Eagles would have no chance or not win. It’s just a factor to consider.

So you're saying there's a line that you shouldn't launch yourself prematurely across?

Good to know.

He should have been ejected

The great thing about revisionist history is that, no matter how much they try to change it, we still got the trophy and the joy of knowing we were the best.

We got to hang a 50 berger on the team that beat your team in the NFCCG, we got to end a dynasty in devastating fashion and all they got was maybe next year.

No matter how much they want to claim they had a shot, they really didn't. The only people that came close, did so because the Eagles took their foot off the gas not because they were even in the same class. The simple and lasting fact is they didn't get it done on the biggest stage and, rather than accept reality, they make fictitious claims in an attempt to revise history.

The EAGLES hold the trophy. Deal with it.

I caught up on the blog so I went over to a cowgirls forum planning to taunt. It's so depressing and sad over there I couldn't bring myself to do it. No faith in their QB, no faith in the team. There was the occasional random delusional fan but most of them were down to earth and realistic about their lot in life.

Oh well, cowgirls fan base is in a good place. Guess, I'll focus on curing cancer or something instead.

It just hit me it's Dallas week for the next four months 🤣

What other countries get with game pass, we get plus with NFL+, except that it isn’t live. (Plus we get coaches film, All22).

Game pass has everything including the All22. All games are live, redzone, network, 40 minute versions, highlights, archives of 15 years back.

*Except in the UK where the local broadcaster mandates blackouts on the 1pm and 4pm Sunday games, and maybe still even a 24 hour period where you can't watch it on Gamepass.

Its a legacy of a bad TV deal 20 or so years ago. Sigh

Its become a thing over here for some football teams to load full matches into YT a day or two after the game.

But always with YT, going to be chock full of ads

Of course, but a lot of folks positing that the game was going to be in Detroit offer it up like it was an insurmountable obstacle, meanwhile, an inferior Washington beat that Detroit team in Detroit. So, I don't care where the game was going to be played. Coming off a bye, they couldn't beat Washington in Detroit, so suggesting that the Eagles wouldn't be able to do that same feat without the benefit of the bye is silly.

Ultimately, all this is meaningless. Detroit wasn't healthy. Detroit didn't beat Washington. So, none of the other things matter. Sure, if time is rewound and Hutchinson doesn't go down, or McNeil, or whomever... then they might be a different team and they might have gone on to win the Super Bowl. Of course, if Joe Montana hadn't had his clavicle broken in the NFC CG on a tackle by Adam Burt... then SF goes on to win a 5th Super Bowl with Montana, and maybe even a 6th after that. BUT... none of that matters. It happened, the 49ers lost, and Buffalo missed the FG wide right in the SB to give the Giants their 2nd Super Bowl victory in franchise history.

So, when these guys chirp about who should play or that they are the better team, etc. etc. None of that matters. What happens on the field is all that counts.

I sympathize with the Lions but there's no way they were beating the Eagles by January, I don't care if they had their day 1 starters.

2017 felt like we eked one out but 2024 was thorough domination. The only reason the Rams even sniffed a close game was the snow storm.

In Detroit, on a fast track, the Eagles would have obliterated Goff and there's no way they would have stopped the Eagles offense, again I don't care who they lined up.

As long as they stick to the scheduled TV timeouts in the game, that shouldn't be an issue. We are used to ads during a football game.

Yup - DET got the short-end of the deck with the injuries, but even so it’s tough to beat a full house without getting lucky.

Detroit would have likely lost to the Eagles teams that won the NFCCG and SB.

But what about the Eagles teams that played Packers and Rams in the playoffs?

Carr-bage time has officially come to an end.

Any given Sunday. Who knows? Frankly, who cares? The Eagles beat whom they had to beat given the way the full season went, and they did what it took to win the Super Bowl. The rest is meaningless.

RG3 never recovered from his ego…not the injury. I honestly don’t think his style of play was repeatable though…whether abuse by the OC or his inabilities.

Agree to disagree. Shanahan ruined him by playing him when he was injured, then he and Gruden wanted to change him into a player he wasn't. Cousins was the guy Gruden preferred, and he still failed. They never had a record better than what RG3 produced in his rookie year, and only went to the playoffs once with First Cousins.
