What’s up, guys? I’ve been quiet on here lately. The truth is, I’ve been going through a rough stretch with my mental health. I wasn’t sure whether to say anything, but with June being Men’s Mental He

Recently we spend the 1st month of the season putting our pants on with the preseason philosophy and passing experimentation.

Fair enough.

That is a blessing.

Schefter can F off. They have a 3 day draft. They don't need another TV money grab.

Need? Of course not. Did they "need" to expand with games in Brazil? Games on Christmas Day? Nah. Since when does the NFL stick to what they 'need'.

Didn't realize this but I also don't think it's as big a deal as they are making it to be.

The LA game will feel like a home game. The trips to NJ and DC are easy. Again, nothing burdensome about the schedule.

The schedule was always going to be a bear based on who we are playing, all in all...it's absolutely manageable. Very curious to see what the Commanders schedule looks like as they should be our greatest competition and....they are playing ALMOST all the same teams. I'm still not sold on them, they needed miracles and frantic comebacks with luck (Chicago) to get where they got last year. I said it before....11-6 wins the division.

We only had one true back to back home game stretch last year anyway, Panthers and Steelers. The final two games were also back to back home but with final game being meaningless and already at 13 wins, it didn't really seems to matter at all.

We get an extra days rest and catch the Chiefs off of having to travel to Brazil and back.

It’s going to be another ass whooping

They will have the back to back home games in the playoffs. ;)

To rig it for the big markets in that sport as well? Screw that. And screw you Adam Schefter.

His coaching winning % is .45. What a downer of a hire.

Chiefs revenge game + we lost in KC in 2017 and I wanna do it again

EDIT: Also, it will warm my heart to see Nick Wright get all excited and cocky again just for us to beat the Chiefs by 40 in the Super Bowl

He already said this week the Eagles will take a step back. Love it.

Bad hire, and bad process to get there.

I hope not. Who has trust the NFL wouldn't rigg that?

And potential tampering by the Flyers to boot. Imagine, tampering to hire a losing coach?

You really have us losing to the Chiefs in Week 2? Perhaps more than any other, that is a Big Boy Pants game. They will be both prepared and psyched for that game IMO.

Why do you think they will lose that game?

Yeah, the teams are pretty close in talent and they are playing in KC where Andy doesn't lose often and they want revenge. One of the best QBs of all time is going to be gunning to make a statement after the SB defense dominated them. Speaking of the defense there will be some young guys trying to learn/prove themselves filling in for some key pieces that are no longer on the team. I hope they win, but they have questions at CB, S, LB (Dean healthy? The kid ready?), DT, and DE behind Hunt and Smith. If it was later in the season after Vic had time to coach the young guys up and adjust to what he has I'd probably feel better about it.

It's a typical Flyers move with no creativity because it's comfortable.

They have. Hope they do again. I think the Eagles will ultimately be better than them again this year. I'm just not sure it will be week 2, but maybe guys learning will be covered by the others who have a year in his system.

I was looking over the schedule and saw some clear divides. The first 8 games before the Bye divide evenly into the first four being a more difficult set than the next four. Then after the Bye we have five games in front of a national audience (Cowboys expected to be the featured game at 4:25pm). But I think there is a natural divide between the Bears and Chargers games.

Between those two games we will be able to watch the remainder of week 13 and all of the week 14 games before ours. It is an opportunity to assess were we stand relative to the rest of the division/conference. All sorts of playoff scenarios can be developed - which will be interesting being that three of our remaining five games are in the AFC. The other two, against the the Commanders, could prove to be extremely determinative for the division or just must win games to enhance our seeding.

Anyone else really warming up to this draft class? Or am I still on cloud 9 drinking the kool-aid. Lol
