How the hell are that many seats available?

There are season tickets being sold aftermarket. The tickets have not even gone on sale yet through ticketmaster.

They do it, because they have done it for so long and its always worked for them. Back in the day, their bigger money came from ticket sales rather than TV contracts. So, they'd black games out in the local market to force people to buy the tickets in order to see the game. Then TV contracts got bigger, but strangely, it seems to have been done separately from the local blackouts. So, blacking the game out and forcing local people to buy tickets to the game to see it still seems to work.

And now with all the services having their own subscription, they want to black them out to force people to subscribe to the services and then they can raise the licensing fees on those services next time around if the NFL partnership led to significantly more subscribers. Ultimately, the NFL doesn't do anything without a long careful look at the bottom line.

The local blackout kind of makes sense when games don't sell out. I doubt that's the case with the Eagles the past 25 years or so. I don't understand why anyone would black out a game in the U.K. or even more than say 200 miles away from Philly.

Episode 1 of the Exciting Mics

Interested to see who the Eagles hire to replace Patch and Hunt. Wouldn't be shocked to see Joe Douglas come back.

Is there

I would be floored by that.

Keep talking Micah and Ceedee

Figure the Bucs, Ravens, and Lions are division winners. Currently not as daunting as this season. We get easier divisions and an extra home game.

Fourth straight seasons against the Rams. Hopefully we finally get a win against the Seahawks. We've lost eight in a row. Last win was in 2008.

I hope we get the Rick Tocchet that coaches more like he played wearing 22 than when he wore 92.

I don't know why Douglas would come back at this point. My guess is that they will try to bring someone in from another organization.

Spike Eskin is a talentless bum and his dad is a sexual predator.

And the Eagles don't get comp picks when he's a GM. I still hate everything about the Rooney Rule. It seems the Eagles have given minoriries their first chance in the NFL far more than many other teams. If the NFL wants to reward teams (which I think is silly), they should reward the teams that are opening the door, not rewarding teams for giving the final step.

He worked for the Texans and Steelers before the Eagles.

If they're gonna poach from another organization, the Ravens or Rams please. Two very good drafting teams.

Will Jonathan Gannon last long enough to F'ing gut us?

Not surprising, really. The reporting very early in the pre-draft process was Williams might refuse to go to the Bears.

Doesn't shock me Williams tried to avoid going to Chicago; that was the reporting very early in the pre-draft process. I'm not sure how he figured he "needed to go to the Vikings", though -- they were picking 10th. They must have surmised KOC was the best coach for him, it is a domed stadium, and the Vikings were willing to move up.

Funny thing is, if Poles could evaluate talent it would have happened. Jayden Daniels was the better prospect. It comes down to Poles not willing to risk his job by passing on the consensus #1; if Williams doesn't play a lot better in the next couple of seasons Poles be gone anyway.

Awkward…Caleb is talented, but I don’t see him having what it takes to reach his full potential

Anyone else really warming up to this draft class? Or am I still on cloud 9 drinking the kool-aid. Lol

I'm mainly interested in our earlier picks, Campbell, Mukuba, Robinson.

I have a personal interest in APR as a lifelong fan of the Virginia Tech. He's a well rounded pass rusher with a full set of veteran tools but it'll be a question of how well he fits into their role for him.

At VT, he was pretty much their only threat so received all the attention and still managed to disrupt and get home. In this line, they'll have to leave him 1v1 because of Carter and Robinson and I'm excited to see what he does when he's not receiving the double and triple teams. I guess 16 sacks and 19 TFL's is acceptable production while being double/triple teamed.

I'm cautiously optimistic. I over invested in Barnett and others before and they didn't pan out. I think we'll know shortly. Either they'll make noise in the OTA's or you won't here a word about them.
