What’s up, guys? I’ve been quiet on here lately. The truth is, I’ve been going through a rough stretch with my mental health. I wasn’t sure whether to say anything, but with June being Men’s Mental He

I can think of no better representative of Philly.

Sixers offseason is headed in the right direction I see.

Too feminine for you? This is the most innocuous thing around the Sixers this offseason. I hope he becomes the world's nail polish magnate.

Thank you San Francisco. Purdy is decent…but not $53 mil decent

Indeed.

The argument about a roster not being good because a team is paying a QB needs to be put to rest. Eagles are paying Hurts $50M a year and put together the best roster in the NFL last season.

The Eagles aren’t paying Hurts $50 million this season. They are paying him $21,869,800. Howie magic.

What a joke! Totally a product of the system and with a rag arm. The guy is a second string talent who lucked out. I give him credit for making the most of his very limited talents because in terms of talent he’s not a top 20 QB, maybe not even top 25. Unless McCaffery resurrects himself that team is in for a long drought. I doubt they improve on last year’s 6-11.

Yup, 9ers are done. Love to see it

49ers are one of the organizations in the league that you could say are run as well as the Eagles.

In almost all responsibilities and tasks you are right … but they consistently fail with respect to QB. Decision after decision regarding QBs has been abominable. Only mister Irrelevant has been even vaguely positive, and they lucked into that , and now are forced into overpaying him because they don’t have a McKee or a McCord, or most importantly didn’t have a Hurts when Wentz imploded or a Foles whe Wentz went down.

Bad, bad, bad, really really bad.

Paying is different than cap charges.

But I’m pretty sure it would take practice.

That's obviously not the The Answer.

The biggest difference between our schedule and theirs is that they have to play us twice and we don’t.

I did mention that. But we do have to handle our business against them. Last year, for whatever its worth... they split in the regular season.

I agree with your points. Those 3 games are 17% of the Commanders schedule, but the Eagles are 12% of the Commies’ schedule. Arguably two games against the Eagles (intra Divisional) are 40% tougher than the difference between Bucs - Falcons and Rams -Seahawks. So the marginal difference is small enough to arguably not be statistically significant.

That's a lot of words, complicated by numbers, but the reality is... even when the Commanders have been terrible, the Eagles haven't always been able to sweep them, and I'd predict a split again. Let's not forget that they split last year in the regular season. We can talk about how Hurts missed nearly the whole game, or that it took until the final drive or whatever else, but that's just trying to make us feel better. In the end... it was the only loss this team suffered after the bye. But yeah, I feel very confident that a split will come against Washington again.

I think he's motivated to do whatever it takes to get back to the white house. We just found our stud CB2. Book it.

We are going to blow the Chiefs out again in KC week 2. The Hurts-Mahomes rivalry is THE premiere QB rivalry in the league with two Super Bowl matchups split and their career record against each other split. Eagles were the better team in the first Super Bowl. Got their revenge in KC the following season. Got further revenge blowing them out in the Super Bowl and now it's just knowing that we have them and the Chiefs knowing that there is another team that is just better. I can't wait for that week 2 game.

Cap keeps going up and 49ers are one of the organizations in the league that you could say are run as well as the Eagles. They also have seemingly endless pipeline of comp 3rd round picks due to minority coaches and front office being hired from them every other year.

You mean the organization that made a big bet on Trey Lance and then lucked into Purdy?

Hopefully people will stop complaining about Hurts $250m contract. Look at that list.

I would say Eli Ricks is shooting his shot, but I don't want the secret service up my ass.

True, but the paying happened in a past year not the current year. Timing is all over the place.

Yeah the organization that has been to 7 NFC Championship Game and 3 Super Bowl appearances since 2011. We of course one up them with 2 Super Bowl wins but they are easily the second best run franchise in the NFC. Rams are up there though for sure.

Only split because of the Hurts concussion and the CJGJ ejection. Replacing Pickett with McKee would almost surely (opinion) have resulted in a win.

The most important aspect of the game was Fangio’s Defense’s inability to contain Daniels’ scrambles. That vulnerability was addressed in the NFCCG.

Agreed lots of words and numbers, but I see the loss to the Commies as a combination of unfortunate circumstances and suboptimal coaching … Pickett over McKee … understandable, but suboptimal nonetheless(opinion).
