He's played so poorly I'm not sure we could get any pick for him now. I'd take him and a 6 for a 5

If this offense is making none of the quarterbacks look good, is it the players, is it the offense, or is it the play calling? It’s still only preseason, but it clearly feels like the starters will struggle, because they haven’t been playing.

The offense is a work in progress. I've been saying all along expect a slow start to the season on that side of the ball with the hope that as the season progresses we start to see it coming together. Hopefully the defense keeps us in a decent position during the first half of the season to keep us in play for a playoff spot and then the offense comes to life down the stretch.

Knee jerk reaction — he SUCKS.

Season is over anyway if Hurts gets injured.

So get a 6 for Tanner Brady. Then Howie that 6 into a 5 next year. Then Howie that 5 into a 4 the following year.

/the end. Especially to this thread. 🦮🏄

Howie is great at his job, but he really messed up not trading McKee when he had some value. They probably could have gotten a 4 for him a few months ago, and at the very least a 5. I doubt anyone would even give up a 5 for McKee and a 7 right now.

But last week vs. N.E. we were ready to drive Dalton to the airport and make McKee #2. He was 16/22 with 173 passing yards. This game he had 55 yards.

I'd definitely take that 2nd round pick now. Make it happen, Howie.

I think this will be a long and slow process. They better run the ball a lot. I’m not impressed by what we are seeing offensively right now, but it’s still early. Can’t forget the OC never called plays either. Ironically if that guy fails it’s on Sirianni, because they claimed he’s the one who hired him.

I am so agreed with you on this....I actually think this will be slower than we actually think, much to the fan's chagrin....its going to be slow and painful....if not, I will gladly come back and eat crow....and all those thinking the offense is better with trading AJ being additon by way of subtraction are all in for a very rude awakening.....

In the last 8 months this dude has ruined his career.

It has nothing to do with either offense (2025 or 2026 preseason)

He was looking at some kind of 12m+ with incentives compete for starter chance after 2024.

He is a below mediocre backup now. He will be lucky to get a 4m with incentives 1 year deal next year.

I'd rather have the Ravens 3rd string QB over McKee.

He was horrific in that Bengals game. Everything was under-thrown. He was tackling his own players on screens and quick outs. He was throwing the ball short to the CBs on 15-25 yard sideline throws.

He looked AWFUL in that game....seems like he only locked in on whoever was on his right side......but he made the easy throws look terrible......

I LOATHE Wentz but I think I would rather have him start a couple games over Dalton or McKee if needed.

Dalton was as bad as McKee was this week when he played last week and Dalton is human playoff humiliation.

McKee had about 3 decisions in the DC game last year that could have meant a win. (one was not running on an easy 3rd down pickup and some really bad throws) He had at least 5 balls vs Cincy that looked like a guy you would cut from the high school team.

Dalton (soon age 39) and McKee may also be the 2 worst running QBs in the league.

Dalton's last 100+ rushing yards season was 2020 and his last rushing TD was 2019.

Im fearing a chip Kelly situation where the system is more important than the players. Doesnt seem to fit the players atm. Maybe it takes more than one off-season to fully grasp it. Just wild the struggles the whole passing squad is going through. Luckily we got Barkley and Jalens legs to work through it as everything is figured out

AJ was a great talent and he will be missed, but he had to go. Can’t look back. I just hope the two rookies catch on sometime by November at least.

I have no idea what "system" you are talking about. Sirianni may not call the plays, but his philosophy has been and always will be to build around the team's strengths. It doesn't matter who the OC is. That person will always be confined to Sirianni's philosophy.

I’d take 6 rolls of toilet paper for him.

For Dalton, I’d take one tube of already opened toothpaste.

Oh give it a rest dude. Your breath has to smell of jock strap. This is an obvious change in philosophy this year. Probably will be successful because we tend to be, but voicing an obvious concern shouldnt immediately get your crotch soggy breath spewing at the comment

Did we get our 2nd round pick yet? Why is this taking so long? Sheeesh.

Howie is still working on it. Latest rumor is that we’ll get the Texans 2nd for McKee. Their 2036 2nd rounder. 😘

That would be the deal of the century.

Please tell us what system the Eagles will be running this year. Is it a west coast offense? A no-huddle/spread style system? Outside zone? Air raid? Or will be be running the Jalen Hurts offense we have seen for the last 5 seasons with a possible increase in receiver route trees and pre snap motion?

Your concern was stupid because we don't adhere to a "system." We revolve around the strengths of the personnel. That's why we will continue to be a run-first team that goes for it on 4th and 1 often. Hopefully we will see our WRs utilized more diversely when we pass and there will be less force-feeding a specific target. But the last thing we are doing is forcing a "system" on the players and treating it as the only thing that matters (like Chip Kelly).

Funny thing is I asked you a question and the best you could muster was some cliche personal attack. I know we have had our fair share of disagreements, but move on already, dude ... it's how discussion works on a message board.

Who holds the clipboard better? Dalton or McKee?

I mean even old Wentz is flying in off the scrap heap and making comeback wins! We should have sold high on Tanner if we ever had the chance

Falcons QB situation is dire. Maybe you can get a 6th for Dalton and a 7th. Neither back up is going to inspire me with confidence behind this offensive line the way they're playing.
