That’s the thing. It’s not saying the offense is bad or the team is bad. It’s actually a compliment when you really think about it. The Eagles can line up, run a handful of simple plays every week, not have to resort to trickery or overly exotic plays and still beat you. That’s how good they are.

We live in a society where if you don't 100% support something, you are a hater. If you aren't waving it around slobbing it, you're a hater. Disagreement=hate. It's not just sports, it's everything and it's one of the biggest dividers we have right now.

I think it’s more that there’s so much talent and it’s grossly underutilized. So far at least. But I’ll still take the wins

I'm going to look for a silver lining in the Nolan Smith injury.

He actually looked like he was crossing into the special range late last year and just hasn't looked quite the same all year with his massive brace on. This gives me more help the 1st 3 games may be a shell of what he can be when he returns. He'll be back soon enough and the only game of consequence he's actually missing is this Sunday.

Additionally, and I'm not afraid to line up in this camp...I want Jihaad Campbell as an edge rusher. Let Dean and Trot Jr. figure out the other off ball LB spot. This may accelerate that.

I know a team that used to be pretty good at that, although I can barely remember it’s been so long.

Agree 100%. Reinjuries happen. But when a player doesn't look right on the field and then ends up on IR with the prior injury, it makes you wonder about the staff.

Dean is a terrific downfield player. He lived in the backfield. He might not be better than Campbell, but man he's a VERY good LB.
