Dickerson should have not come back so quickly, he should have waited till he was truly ready. Jurgens back isn't 100%, he even admitted that, so having Dickerson next to him also struggling was no help. Steen isn't the problem, his play is fine. When Lane got hurt, Pryor sucked at RT. Fred Johnson saved that game. Pryor is better a Guard, Toth sucks.

They need to accept reality of what's happening with the online this year and prepare the depth accordingly. Aren't any of these guys they drafted any good in depth? And why start Toth over Pryor at LG?

Stoutland University is also living off past success. Need to get it together.

You just cant have 3 straight short dives (2 3 and outs and 1 with single first down) and then follow that up with a turnover which flips the field, especially on a day where the D is struggling.

That was the game right there, In some ways like the Chiefs game but inverse for us. Very different ballgame even if we just get a FG there.

The defense will be ok with Carter, Nolan Smith, Dean & Q (once we hear his timeline) back playing. And Fangio & his staff are competent coaches to handle this and adjust.

CB2 is a major problem though. No scheme can fix that. Howie is gonna have to make a trade.

They also had trouble with defenses adjusting to it last year which was early in the season when everyone here hated Kellen Moore as well. Then they became a running team and it saved our season. I don’t see this OL flipping a switch and becoming a dominant zone blocking unit. Jalen running more would help the numbers game or perhaps Stout can reintroduce some power or split zone concepts. In any case, high volume passing isn’t the solution unless a big change is made.

It is a very unique way the Eagles went on to win a Super Bowl and physically demanding way to win it. Previous iterations of the Eagles, could run the ball. They ran the ball. But they were not considered a run first team by the margins that last year did.

Think about what 4 out of those 5 offensive lineman have been through the last 4 years. Think of all the tush pushes they’ve done. Think of the 9 extra playoff games. Now play 17 games not 16. Think about last year them just being a heavy run first team and super physical. That is a lot that they have been through in a four year period. I’ve got to imagine the human body at some point in time starts wearing down and you just can’t do the things you did even just last year.

Let me just point something out becton hasn’t looked all that good for the Chargers (week 1 was best game and has been worse every week since and missed time with an injury). Maybe that’s him just not being here with stoutland. So maybe the price that was paid for wining that Super Bowl last year is taking its toll on your OL guys and becton in 2025.

Offense is one thing this defensive line is another. How did this D line get so bad in one season no pressure at all losing sweat and Hargrave was big time losses. I didn’t hear Uche or any of the DE’s names all night.

Calling out the obvious. If the team gets worse in the 2nd half it's obviously coaching adjustments or lack there of.

Barkley also calling out the COACHES.

When this much criticism of the Offensive coaching comes publicly from multiple players in the media, imagine what's said behind closed doors.

In fairness not having Nolan smith is hurting them. Maybe his stat sheet wasn’t stuff. But he’s a play hard every snap guy and they could really use him. Also they miss the depth of having Milton williams with Davis, Carter and ojomo. I’d add some guys just aren’t playing as well as last year and Carter has essentially missed 2 of 6 games. He also hasn’t played as consistently well when out there

Tbh sheil discussed this in the offseason and last year, the secondaries ability to cover really helped the DL last year.

Basically I think it comes down to

1) 2024 has taken its toll physically on this team and we're seeing the effects of it. Key guys look slowed and run down already and did even back to training camp. Because of that, they haven't been as good or as physical as we've hoped.

2) Howie had a bad offseason. Draft was good, but otherwise, a bad free agency and even into the season with a bad Bigsby trade. Now his best work, so less depth than in years past.

3) Because of the above two, the running game hasn't been as good, and under Sirianni this team has been a disaster offensively without a dominant running game for whatever reason. Going all the way back to 2021, this offense doesn't do anything when they aren't running it well.

4) They don't have a coaching staff smart enough offensively to figure out how to fix it. And I think the Eagles coaching staff is comprised of some really poor offensive minds, They only produced on offense last season because they had the best OL in football(as well as the best roster overall), Barkley was historic, and the defense gave them a billion turnovers so they had more opportunities. Without those things, the flaws of Sirianni and his staff are getting exposed. In terms of schematically I think we have the worst offensive staff in the NFL. And the fact that they didn't have a top 3 offense in the NFL last season with that OL and Barkley destroying everyone gives credence to that. Imagine that roster last season with Kevin O'Connell running the offense with these weapons and that OL, they'd have averaged 35 ppg.

I only watched the first quarter and a bit, listened to the rest of the game while running errands. I saw this and said out loud "get him off the field”. Ringo doesn’t seem to have play recognition, he doesn’t possess ball skills, but to be so stupid that he thinks he’s still playing college football? This guy can’t play.

For all the consternation about the offense, it sounded to be like they were moving the ball pretty well, but shooting themselves too often again. Hurts missing a sure TD to DeVonta Smith which would have changed the momentum of the game, then throwing away any chance of a victory with a bad red zone INT. You shouldn’t have to be labeled a hater by pointing out Hurts didn’t play very well tonight — but he certainly wasn’t alone. The defense as a whole was really subpar.

They’ll never admit it but I’m curious if the eagles defense was out of gas as they played 70 snaps vs. Denver. Previous 2 weeks also played 68 and 66 snaps.

Given Dart’s skillset the DL did a poor job hemming him in. Once in the open field even Baun struggled to tackle him cleanly. Unfortunately, the defense couldn’t full on mush rush him with Ringo and Adoree in coverage.

This is it right here. The Coaches are telling them "read the box and run or pass based on 7 vs 8 in the box..."

And they need to decide who they want to be and then call plays accordingly.
