Look at the comments about the meeting he had with Barkley and Hurts. AJ is just trying not to say anything.Maybe? But he said KP is doing an amazing job? He said KP is trying to get them the ball. Like if he is toeing the line then he could say those things about Jalen? If he can say it about KP then he can say it about anyone if he’s lying.
5 hours ago5 hr That was so bad, I gave up watching it- that team wasn't coming back even no one was on the other side of the ball. The O scheme isn't working consistently, but in all honesty, the D is has been off it in the last couple of weeks too. Its the whole damn team. I don't think Patullo is the sole issue on O either, but the most visible point of ire. The players on that side of the ball have lost their pop; its businesslike but lacks attitude, I don't think some of them would go the extra yard if they needed toI'm glad they got dragged by a bad team and it is up to them to find the answers. And it is very much fixable, if they want to. And its games like that where I go back to the place. Why did Howie trade for a RB?

4 hours ago4 hr The D has been a huge disappointment the past couple weeks. I really hope they figure it out, because if the offense is going to continue to be an issue the D is going to be the only thing keeping them from having another 2023-esq collapse

It feels crazy to even say that. The bigger concern is that he's not improving, if anything he's getting worse. Being a first time caller should mean that he improves as he learns on the job. He's not. Instead the DCs are catching on to his tendencies now and it is worse than it started out.

To be fair though, the offense is not doing them any favors by constantly going 3 and out.
4 hours ago4 hr As usual, most people want to talk in circles about one area that is "the” cause for this mess, but it’s so many major problems that it’s hard to list all of them.Roseman had a God awful offseason. His arrogance looks real stupid right now.Patullo is not qualified.Sirriani is still the same goober that has nearly been fired several times.Hurts is who Hurts is. Tough dude who can have success when everything is in place, but serious flaws as wellInjuries. Nothing catastrophic or season ending so far, but a lot of key guys missing. Couple that with an already shaky team and the results are disastrous.Run blocking. Holy crap.I’m sure there’s more that I can’t think of right now. This team does nothing well.

He has the same offense on paper, but some are just a shell of themselves, especially on the O-line. The receivers got open regularly last night and for the most part Hurts found them. He also missed one huge opportunity to Smitty and his interception was bad. That pass showed his weakness when it comes to passing with velocity. Ball placement was off as well. We’ve had a stale offense for a while now. I think the run game from last year masked a bunch of issues that are still lingering.

4 hours ago4 hr Watching the game on replay as I couldn’t catch the full game live. Picked up a few observations:Mailata hasn’t been himself. Single-handily ended one of drives in the 1st half by getting beat on back to back plays (run and pass)Toth is not a nfl player, try Pryor at LG please Hurts was cooking in 1st half but took too long to get going in the 2nd and had a couple of game changing plays in 2nd in a bad way. On top of the pick which effectively ended it, the missed deep shot to a wide open Smith was huge. Also AJ was open on the INT.After the first couple of drives, looked like D was settling in but Q’s injury changed the flow. Our D is based on 3 guys - 1 at each level. Can’t keep up the level play when 2 of them are outWe may see Mac McWilliams rushed into lineup the way CB#2 is goingJihad had his worst game - sone of this was because Dart is slippery. Mukuba also made mistakes. The rookies on D struggled today The picked up flag was absolutely holding / DPI against AJOur returns are costing us games. Puts O in and spot, then they do T move the ball and puts D in a bad spot. We also are getting PR yardage like we have last few years between Covey and Dejean. Something to consider in the mini bye week is that we are losing the hidden yardage / field position game

4 hours ago4 hr Yep, the adjustments at halftime do fall on coaching. They’ve gotten worse the last two games for sure.
4 hours ago4 hr If they keep cycling through OCs, someone will eventually come forward and explain why they run the offense the way they do. Or AJ will get traded and he’ll do it.
4 hours ago4 hr Since salary sap isn't effected by coordinator pay I say just throw a massive bag at the next stud OC they happen to find (if) they happen to find one. Enough of this letting them go to be a head coach somewhere, just pay them above head coach money idgaf, enough is enough with the game of OC musical chairs.
4 hours ago4 hr There needs to be a drastic change. Our offense is horrendous. Hurts at times has been horrendous. Missing easy, wide open TDs. Standing 10 seconds in the pocket just to hold onto the ball. The playcalling isn't great by any means, I'm not suggesting it is, but he needs to be a lot better. This team cannot figure it out once defenses adjust.
4 hours ago4 hr That was the worst case scenario playing out last night and the team is at rock bottom. Losing to Payton and Daboll back to back is humiliating, two huge overrated ****es.The OL is one of the worst in the league and that's a fact. The defense has been completely and thoroughly exposed. There are no answers other than a possible trade or Carter and Quinyon never leaving the game again. Absolutely no pass rush and soft coverage. Nice!STs was a laughingstock. Mann wasnt good and all of our returners looked like it was their first time doing it. AJ Dillon muffing the KR out of bounds then fumbling from a weak punchour was perfection.

Barkley has room to run early yesterday. Was averaging about 5 yards per carry. And WRs were wide open all night.
