Campbell is pretty good in coverage but he has his share of bad snaps in coverage, like getting beat by Skataboo for a TD.

Having said that Dean was also held on that play, blitzed through the A gap and the guard tackled him and refs swallowed their whistles.

Campbell did not get beat by Skattebo for a TD. That was Johnson who over ran the route and fell down. Cant really think of any bad plays in coverage for Campbell.

Im just saying, although Dean pops when playing downhill, Id be very surprised if the eagles are disappointed in Campbell's physicality. I dont think thats the case at all.

Dean is at his best playing down hill. Campbell is being utilized much more in coverage. The eagles have them playing two different styles of football.

I do think Campbell will benefit from another year in the weight room if he is going to be playing a lot of edge. But I dont think there is a physicality issue.

On another note, I want more reinforcements from Howie and not overly feel himself too much with the trade deadline. This is not a Superbowl defense right now. That is the primary reason we won last year. Lions, Bills, Chiefs ( with Rice now) and Colts could make Eagles defense seem pretty ordinary IMO, as currently constructed. ILBs are good especially with Dean back safety and CB2 with a better pass rush should get better and Ringo has strung together a couple not awful games

If Eagles can get the run game going like today itll give some rest and keep em fresher during the game

If O goes back to long stretches of zero offense D is going to suffer

My bad, Didnt know it was Johnson but that makes sense, PJ has no business on coverage.

Campbell to me looks like hes hit the rookie wall, been a while since hes made a play, hopefully the bye will recharge him for the stretch run, still lots of ball to play.

I said lets give some credit to Patullo for the progression of this offense as Hurts has thrown the most TDs in a 2 week span of his entire career. Has now only his 3rd ever 4 TD game. Had two 100 yard RBs while the QB threw 4 TDs, and has an 85% red zone TD percentage.

Yes. I'm a little more optimistic with certain encouraging developments in recent weeks and guys coming back and more coming after bye week. Today, Toth, Tank, Dean, Dickerson, Dotson, Gipson all played well and it's encouraging. Ringo played okay. Think they can use a solid vet there in a trade to stabilize things. Like another guy for D-Line. Getting spread thin there. Next 10 days are key....Howie been quiet. So something BIG coming. 😁

It’s not just this play or really anything in general. It’s a cumulative effect of there being some injuries this year, the non called false starts, the 4 tush pushes in a row and now this is on top of the majority of the NFL wanting it banned in the first place.
