I think the first half of the Eagles schedule ended up being harder than expected and the second half may be just a tad softer. GB/DET will be a tough back to back, but I think it really opens up after that. Commanders just aren’t going to be as tough as feared, even with Daniels returning. Wheels are going to be coming off Dallas soon. And that Buffalo game…you never know if they’ll be locked into a seed by then.

Looking at the Steelers Uniforms...

Yes , we have these capologists in here running the Eagles. Here's the MW deal breakdown. Reported as a 4 year/$104M dollar deal. But with guarantees, essentially, was 2 year deal for 51M guaranteed. Could get out of deal in 2027. Cap hit $14M for New England in 2025. But they had plenty of space so sure Howie could have massaged the numbers there to make it less for year 1.

Here's the breakdown:

1. Signing bonus: $24 million.

2. 2025 offseason workout bonus: $300,000.

3. 2025 base salary: $6 million, fully guaranteed.

4. 2025 per-game active roster bonus: up to $1.7 million; $100,000 per game.

5. 2026 offseason workout bonus: $300,000.

6. 2026 base salary: $21 million, fully guaranteed.

7. 2026 per-game active roster bonus: up to $1.7 million total; $100,00 per game.

8. 2027 offseason workout bonus: $450,000.

9. 2027 base salary: $21 million, $12 million of which is guaranteed for injury at signing and becomes fully guaranteed on the third day of the 2027 league year.

No one says we have to sign Carter after year 3. It's just assumed. And I think that made everyone crazy in here and hyperventilating that we wont be able to keep everyone. Right now it's hard to say what he will get. At least based on stats. I believe the cornerstones and must keeps as of today are JC, Q and Coop. After that we go year to year and see what happens with performance and health.

The GOAT praising Hurts.

If this result holds, the Eagles will go into the bye with the #1 seed.

Commanders have a really old team and they had a bunch of last second wins last year, they were bound to fall off a bit

Cowboys defense is so bad, they have zero pass rush without parsons and they cant stop the run either, they need to score 40 a game to win.

Bills are always a threat with allen and cook who went over 200 creates alot of issues to a defense.

Not too worried about the packers, theyre pretenders, Detroit is dangerous they have a lot of speed on O but they can also just line up and smash. Should be a tough game.

Hopefully Eagles will have good injury luck, when healthy theyre as good as any team.

It's not when we sign Carter, but for how much. Unspent cap can be used in future years. Throwing $50M guaranteed at Williams now makes signing Carter, Smith, Q, and Coop down the road more difficult.

Also, Ojomo now has 4 sacks. Milton had 5 last season. So one could easily argue that the marginal increase in performance from Ojomo to Williams that you are insinuating would not be worth the size of that contract.

I’d settle for beating the Packers, losing to Detroit, and settling in to take care of business and win the games they should win down the stretch while getting revenge against Detroit in the playoffs.

Welp, small steps. They threw a pass in his direction!!

But no targets, but given how the game went I'm not complaining. It will be interesting to see the snap counts.

EDIT: No targets in the stats, but he drew a pass interference penalty in the third quarter.

I don't expect Daniels to be available for both games by the end of the season.

Absolutely awful call

Detroit looked plenty soft at Green Bay and at KC.

This is why he’s generally useful on ST and not working out on defense. I saw that live and thought my eyes were deceiving me. I can only imagine what was going through the other player’s head.

Yeah yeah, and won a Super Bowl. So what?

Fire the coach, bench the QB, trade the star WR, say the team sucks and the season is over.

After watching the Steelers in the first half, I want Fred Johnson on the field for every play on offense in two weeks.

He is playing like RG3. Run into the D as often as he can.

I want Ojomo and MW. It's not an either/or necessarily. It would be a guaranteed deep line for the next 2 years. And 2 peeps getting paid top money. That is...after JC's projected new contract whenever that comes. We don't have to decide on Smith for awhile. 5 year deal. Do like him. He has to stay healthy. Again. 3 certainties for long term are JC Q and Coop. And you keep MW in the interim. No brainer. Defense is middle of the pack right now as I expected. And not good enough.

That's not a push off from Kraft. Its a get the hell off of me after the DB grabbed him.
