10 hours ago10 hr So this cute chick that works at my local Aldi saw my Eagles Super Bowl Championship T-shirt today and said 'Go Birds!' Her and I have flirted at the register in the past. Turns out she is from Philly and a diehard fan. Today was a good day.

If you had said it was "much harder than it could have been" rather than "much harder than it should have been" that would be less likely to be interpreted as you implying Hurts had made the wrong read. Different connotations and implications with a slight variation in phrasing. And yeah without knowing what the designed progression is on that play call, it's hard to say if he actually abandoned his first read, but if I had to guess, I'd say it's either an artifact of AJ being out but the read still starts with the X here, or that Smitty was the first read but Jalen liked his chances against the weaker corner and so took that shot instead. Thankfully it worked out in the end with Dotson making a phenomenal play.I honestly think a little bit of it was to give Dotson a bit of a reward / chance to make a play in a game where he had 1-on-1 with a matchup advantage. They were up and largely in-control at 31 - 13....worst case scenario is it ends up being an arm punt, and that is only if a PS guy makes a play on the ball. Smith is on the other side of the field and gets open because he makes the Giants defender slip - both of them wouldn't have been in his sight of vision at the same time

His cuts are very decisive and he uses them frequently…when he cuts he immediately moves north and south and looks like he doesn’t give up too much speed or quickness. He seems to always be in a position to be falling forward. He does like to bounce his runs a bit, however in the open field on that big run, i was happy to see the inside cut around the WR/CB block which is the reason he actually converted that run IMO. Had he gone outside the block he’d have ran out of real estate.

I literally said, DeVonta was also wide open and he would have walked in. There's no trolling. There's no criticism there. How people are taking that post as me thinking Hurts is the worst QB in the world or me throwing shade is baffling. It was a great play. I'm happy to see Dotson make a play. The Eagles need more than their top 4 guys making plays. You could have said it was a bad throw and you’d have been right…was his arm hit on that? Or the ball just come out weird on a back foot throw?

If our receiver knows the ball is going to be under thrown, when he turns to come back to the ball, the DB is perfectly set up to cause a pass interference flag for obstructionThat was not on purpose, the ball came out of his hand dead.

I was shocked that WAS passed on him for the skinny kid. Haven’t really watched Gonzalez in the pros, but he had the prototypical tools.
