I was in my early 20's the last the Eagles won the Division back to back. It's only right the Eagles break the 21 year streak as they were the last to win it back to back.

I'll add this... Toth had a really nice game in the running game too. He was very good as the pulling center. And having Dickerson being Dickerson next to him helped a lot too. An undersized C can manage when there's a mauler next to him. Last year Jurgens had TWO huge maulers on his flanks.

Washington kept it close throughout the half but the Chiefs took over 2nd half. Washington now falls to 1-11 All Time Vs the Chiefs. Eagles are the only team to win in the Division this week. They re 2 1/2 Games up on Dallas, 3 Games up on Washington and 4 games up on GMen. No excuses but there are still 9 games left. It's not over but the Eagles are in good shape going into the bye week.

Sure they do. They did it several times against the Giants. Now, the second back is strictly a blocker, but he is still a back, a fullback.

The Jim Johnson defense had some great LB too but they never seemed to be on the same team for very long. Carlos Emmons was the mainstay with Trotter coming back multiple times. I LOVE Shawn Barber, but he was only here for 1 season. Wish he was here longer. James Darling was a very steady OLB. Nate Wayne was good for one year. Mike Caldwell and Ike Reese were ST aces who filled starting positions so-soish.

I would love to see Chris Gocong in this current defense. Still one of the most frustrating moves they ever made. Draft a guy who leads the NCAA in sacks and make him cover TE. We'll always have the Patriots game that showed his true potential. What were they thinking? It worked so well they drafted Andy Studabaker to do the same thing.

I'm gonna age myself but the mid to late 70s the Eagles were LB rich. They played a 3-4 Defense and they had a pretty good rotation for a few years: Bergey, Bunting, LeMaster, Mahalic, Wilkes, Chesley, Phillips, and then Mr. Robinson to close out the 70s.
