You really didn't understand what you read at all. I never referenced Steen. Steen has been the constant on the OL this year. So, I don't know how you saw that as a comment about Steen at all.I'd consider Toth an undersized OG and even a little undersized for what I would consider ideal for a center these days. He's listed at 304, but I think that's generous. I don't really trust what the teams say for the listed weights. I trust my eyes more. And much of this year Jurgens has been flanked by either an undersized OG in Toth, or a hampered jumbo OG in Dickerson at LG. Neither is ideal. This week's game finally had a monster back at LG. Dickerson finally played like Dickerson is capable of in Sunday's game, and they finally got the center pulling like they have in the recent past, because Toth was significantly more healthy than Jurgens has been this year. And... if you don't think the outlier of having Dickerson and Becton flanking the center is an anomaly around the NFL, I don't know what to tell you. Those guys were HUGE last year flanking Jurgens and were a major factor in the 2k yard season Barkley put together. THAT is what I was saying. None of that is a slight on Steen. Steen is a better pass protector than Becton. Becton was a better run blocker, but the real issue has been the OC and LG haven't been healthy. The RT has been hobbled a bit... even the LT. Steen has been the constant in all this, and while he's not a massive asset in the run game (like Becton), he's not a huge liability either, and if you check what I've said about him all year, you'd see that.

Lanes well below his playing weight in that picture.A story I've recounted before: Nate the kitchen" Newton told this. He came into the league at 300 pounds. Reggie White picked him up and threw him into the QB. Next year, Nate came in at 325. Reggie shoved him into the QB. So, the next year Nate came in at 350 and Reggie couldn't throw him around any more.

Weight vs. Volume. What is truly amazing is my weight today is equal to my weight on this day last year but my stomach seems to take up more volume in my clothing than it did last year.
8 hours ago8 hr 43 minutes ago, jojodancer said:I'll let AI settle this. I'm in men's clothing business. Lane Johnson is not near 350 at all. Was high school athlete QB playing at 215.It's nice of AI to contradict itself in the same explanation.First paragraph - Muscle and fat have the same weight per unit volume... (Which doesn't mean what they claim in the rest of the sentence)Second paragraph - Muscle is denser than fat. But, the definition of density is measured by the quantity of mass (or weight as they are describing it above) per unit volume.🤔So, here's what we know: AI SUCKS. Oh, and DALLAS SUCKS! Sorry @Joe Ball - it had to be said.

That's not 1 kg of steel and 1 kg of feathers. That bag of feathers is actually more massive than the steel. The center of mass of the feathers is closer to the fulcrum, which means for it to provide the same torque as the steel, it has to be more massive. And only when the torques are the same would the two sides balance... but then again, the two sides of the balance are different, so the arms of the balance itself are playing a role in this as well.

8 hours ago8 hr Do you think AJ Brown's end game here is to get himself traded with about 2 years left on his deal so that he can go somewhere that will produce better stats for his next contract? And he's just gradually elevating his pain in the ass profile to bubble over that threshold after the 2026 or 2027 season?I don't think he's going to be much an an asset after 2027 anyway. He's going to want 2 years in an offense that will give him the ball more to generate the best next contract possible (or an extension with his new team). And after the 2026/2027 season, the cap hit in trading him isn't so bad.Kind of feels like he'll be here past the trade deadline, will be here next year as they address other issues, and then Howie will open up the trade talks.
8 hours ago8 hr People way overreact to AJ Brown social media posts and listen to the rage bait media stir things up. The coaches and players say they have no issue with him and say nothing but positive things about him. They made him a captain. They manage the different personalities on their team. Carter spit on Dak and got ejected and all we heard was they had internal discussions. They moved on. That was actually detrimental to the team because he missed a whole game. The contract issue has been stated over and over, yet people still discuss the idea of a trade. Now, if some team believes the media hype and calls with an offer too good to pass up, Howie is always listening. He would have to weigh the financial factors, what assets he'd be getting in return and do what's best for the team. If you're going to weaken the receiving group, then are you strengthening another position with a player in return such as a decent corner and some picks? A pass rusher? Or is a boatload of draft picks that you can't turn down?Even so, there's nothing from the team that indicates they have any issue with AJ Brown.
8 hours ago8 hr Begging for a blockbuster trade before we hit the ‘fat vs muscle’ part of the bye week discourse. Oh wait….
