Could put Adoree on IR to see if Jaire can cut it and if not, get rid of Jaire later. Because if Jaire sucks and Bennett sucks, I don’t think they’d want to get rid of Adoree completely.

I think all these moves suggest they want to get rid of Adoree completely but we’ll see

Howie will pick up a 6th rounder in his sleep next draft. Keep throwing those darts Howie! Eventually one hits. Look at Uche. Failed with Ojulari & Ogbo but struck with Uche. These are guys with pedigree but have been dinged up. Can see the reasoning. Needs 1 definitive impact trade 4 me tho.

Struck with Uche? He's the best of that afterthought edge depth group but he still sucks.

Ojulari actually looked decent before he got hurt.

This place should be renamed "whine about the Eagles." Bunch of FN crybabies around here acting like pro-bowl corners be growing on trees at the trade deadline. Howie took two legit shots for next to nothing in terms of draft pick compensation and there is almost no way ONE OF Alexander OR Coop outside with Carter in the slot won't be an upgrade over Jackson and Ringo. We are the defending SB champs, we are currently 6-2. Brandon Graham and Nolan Smith are about to get added to the pass rush along with Alexander and Carter for the secondary, and Howie will probably still trade for an edge rusher like Phillips, Chubb, or Johnson. Seriously you whining chumps need to STFU already.

Nah. Budget signing. Yes, only one sack, but been around QB a bunch with 20 pressures. Did Ojomo suck last year with 0 sacks? Same idea here. Playing well as a rotational edge. PFF confirms the eye test. 😉 84 score....

PREACH!!!

I dont think I have seen one person complain that Howie didnt trade for a better CB.

I also havent seen one person complain about the price for Alexander.

I dont know where some of you come off railing against complainers. I dont see it happening?

God forbid you have an opinion about the player

My opinions cause a lot of emotions for others. lol

Ringo can probably be an ok starting outside cb if he can know the routes he’s facing. He lacks flexibility and that impacts change of direction.

I'll believe that, when I see it. Same line I've been using on him since the beginning. He's not shown it yet. And we're in year 3 now. His window is closing fast, especially considering the starting job was handed to him on a silver platter. This team has been working so hard to replace him. 3 different trades to address the CB position. First Bennett, then Carter, now Alexander.

I’m fine with Ringo as a STer, being a fast straight line athlete isn’t a hindrance when gunning. Adoree on the otherhand has limited value as a backup.

Yup.

Sometimes if posts aren't celebratory whenever something happens, it's automatically looked at as hate or whining. No one was beating down the door to get Alexander in the offseason when he was available to sign off the street. He went to the Ravens. They have a putrid defense this year. And to top it all off, he was a healthy scratch recently with that lousy defense. And the Eagles got him for the cost of a late pick swap.

Where is the cause of celebration? At the same time, where is the cause for lament? This isn't the type of move that's likely to move the needle. It's mostly a due diligence move for extremely minimal cost... and pushes some of the draft capital for 2026 into 2027, which Howie was due to do somehow in some way anyway.

What the hell was the sticking point, an 8th round pick? They literally a bag of footballs for a guy that doesn't dress. Funny that it took weeks to get it done. I guess the Ravens just wanted to wait until closer to the deadline in case someone dropped in and offered more.

Everybody is beating a dead horse about a minor trade. I've moved on. It doesn't deserve pages of analysis. LOL. It's quite obvious what Howie was doing here. Next up Howie. Looking for that defensive line help we need.

I’m not saying this was a bad trade but the guy has been a healthy scratch 5 of 8 games this year for a team with 2 wins all year. He hasn’t been the same player since injury a few years ago. I can see why some would question the move.

At the same time somebody in the FO saw something that tells them he has something to offer. Maybe they’re taking a chance on him resurrecting his career long term. With the team in the SB window he’s worth a chance costing only a 6th imo.

I am 100% fine with people having good and bad opinions about trades. Complain all you want.

I'm actually OK with complaining about anything short of wanting McKee over an MVP level QB.

I may disagree often but you have the right to your opinion.

This place is great for conversation and information but its also nice to vent sometimes... or often.

Personally I like this trade but I'm not expecting Alexander to play at all.

If they can get him right then its a huge win. I'd put the odds of that happening this year at 3 to 5% or so.

Agree, I had high hopes. Truth is he’s a #4 Corner and a Special Team Ace.

It’s the bye week and a trade that is trying to solidify our weakest position. What else should we talk about?

Good news guys, random internet guy is going to watch some tape.

Not sure why some guys around here don’t like that guy. He’s a fan - all he tweets about is the Eagles.

Just because some might not agree with some of what he says doesn’t mean he isn’t a fan and the guy brings up solid points on a regular basis, imo.

What a World Series it’s been. Game 7 and now it’s a 1 run game in the 8th inning.
