He doesn't post any original content and 99% of the time reposts things that aren't his, but claims them or doesn't give any credit to the original creator. He's built an entire online presence based around other people's work.

I’ve been watching him for over 6-7 years and I’ve only seen him do that once and he got called out on it.

Anyway - agree to disagree, I guess.

You can't use since 2022 stats on an injured CB who has played very little and not well since then.

Tom Brady was still playing in 2022. It was a long time ago in football.

It’s the bye week and a trade that is trying to solidify our weakest position. What else should we talk about?

Dolphins fans aren't too high on Phillips. They don't think he's that good and they say he's a terrible tackler and his injuries have diminished his pass rush ability.

Where did you find dolphins fans?

I'll believe that, when I see it. Same line I've been using on him since the beginning. He's not shown it yet. And we're in year 3 now. His window is closing fast, especially considering the starting job was handed to him on a silver platter. This team has been working so hard to replace him. 3 different trades to address the CB position. First Bennett, then Carter, now Alexander.

He’s younger than Quinyon. I am not optimistic about it but I think he still has potential.

Everybody is beating a dead horse about a minor trade. I've moved on. It doesn't deserve pages of analysis. LOL. It's quite obvious what Howie was doing here. Next up Howie. Looking for that defensive line help we need.

Bye week, yo.

WS is wild. Dodgers just tied it up in the 9th.

It is what it is at this point. Howie's throwing darts at corner for cheap. Released Slay & let Rodgers walk. Should've just kept Rodgers.

He's since signed Adoree Jackson, traded for Bennett, traded for Carter, traded for Alexander.

I hope he drafts a decent corner next draft. The best to expect on the current roster are backups.

If he does trade for one of the Dolphins Edge players, that helps the rotation. And the roster has enough to win.

But he started with a lot of draft picks. He usually trades back to get more. Need to draft Edge, Corner, TE, O line.

Bonkers bottom of the 9th.

Is 2025 Jaire even better than 2025 Adoree?

Adoree is limited athletically, lacks football instincts/smarts, and gets ran over without putting up a fight.

It would be hard to be worse.

Hopefully they cut him so Alexander can get that #8

They still have a lot of draft picks.

Boye Mafe would be an interesting target

Not so far. But I think they don’t like the ceiling of 2025 Adoree so they are taking a shot that a healthier 2025 Jaire in their system has more upside in a month. I don’t think it’s likely but it’s a shot

Adoree's ceiling is get exposed and lose us a playoff game.

I'm fine discarding and drawing a new card.

He'll fit right in at CB2.

He started with 12. Now he has 6. There are 3 projected comp picks. 9 is still more than the original given 7. But he's likely not done trading yet. And he will trade up & down in the draft weekend.

Picks he's traded away could be used to trade up in the draft. So hopefully Bennett, Carter and Alexander are worth it.

I’d have rather gotten woolen from Seattle but I’m not sure they’d trade him to us.

The one encouraging thing I heard was the Eagles have been trying to do this for a few days. At least it shows they wanted him and it wasn’t a spur of the moment thing

Wonder if we see some curious inactive tomorrow 👀

Super Bowl repeat is the goal right now; there is a logjam at the top of the NFC and the rest of the NFC East is surprisingly looking as weak as the NFC South right now. The division looks to be in hand and the next 3-4 games could decide the Eagles chances at the #1 or 2 seed again.

Howie clearly saw CB2 as a big need. I’ve never believed Jaire Alexander to be an elite CB, even at his best, but the Eagles simply need competent CB play there.
