Eagles could not afford him. Very expensive salary and trade capital. I would rather Eagles save money to resign their own players, or take a shot on a potential young talent then eliminate their options by locking in Parsons.

Eagles don't need him...they are very rounded defensively, have he best RB in the game, and several top players as supporting cast memebers...I love the way a TEAM is built over having the best player in the game who is doing nothing after New Years.

Cowboys should’ve held out for an ascending player on a rookie deal. Edgerrin Cooper, Tucker Kraft, etc.

The NFCN games were interesting just because of how Lions would be after losing those coaches and Vikings for whatever the hell last season was. Plus Bears are a question mark that has possibilities

Now Packers have Parsons

Any smart fan is happy...problem is the Cowboys don't have many smart fans.

Somehow the eagles were still Mentioned in this..

Cowboys need LB help. Maybe they traded Cooper.

Who is the "front line player”?

Maybe they didn't actually sign him yet. It's starting to appear that way.

Packers season is going to come down to what it did last year, how good Jordan love is and can he stay healthy.

I thought 2 firsts, a 2nd and a player just to enter a serious discussion.

2 First Round picks is a fair amount but they are likely to be late first rounders. They may use them to trade up in the draft but it's not like they are going to get sure fire talent in the late first.

I said all that before everything came out. I expected more

roll

So beating the Cowboys becomes easier, Jerry's gonna mess up those later round picks, and the Eagles will still beat the Packers. Parsons is gonna have more meltdowns when the Eagles O line handles him. 🤣

DAL gives up the later picks to get someone to pay him what they weren't willing to. I think it's the best for both parties involved. I don't understand the 47m piece though...where does that come in?

It does seem like under market value. But also, any team that traded more than two 1sts for a player that isn't a QB would surely lose the trade and it would backfire immensely. So this is realistically the most they could get.

Good trade for the pack, lets see if he lives up to the contract.

Tbh if i were Dallas I’d prefer to deal him somewhere else that has the potential to be bad. Packers are likely a playoff team so those picks are later in the first round. Then again probably getting less first rounders if that team doesn’t think they are ready to be a contender so the pick is more valuable

Oh, he'll still have his weekly podcast to talk about it all...he is likely going to be spewing venom...he and Diggs are such good buddies...Diggs may be next if his bad knee keeps him from meeting contract expectations.

Looks like Jerry said "You want out? See ya!" Go freeze your ass off in WI.

So Jerry trades his best player within the conference? To a team that owns them. And I realize it's two first round picks but they are going to be lower ones. Idiot. I would have traded him to the Browns or Colts and called it a day.

If the Packers hit on one of their WRs they drafted, can boost their OL play (they drafted Belton and signed a Guard) and have Love take a step forward they're going to be a problem. A lot of "ifs" but still

He's gonna share everything now too
