Pretty much the only real reason to get him back is that he can, definitely, be excellent in the slot because he's way better there than at safety. He definitely isn't as good as Coop there, but he's pretty good.

This defense was better with him in it. The secondary was anyways.

And yes he can also play slot. So that would give us the luxury of playing DeJean outside.

Like I said, that's really the only reason to bring him back. The secondary was better with him in it, but that had a lot more to do with not getting Adoree Jackson abused.

But yeah, it does open up one of the few possibilities to push DeJean outside. Slot is really CJGJ's best position anyway. People forget but that Giants game in 2022 he played slot, and he looked way more natural there. He played slot before he played S anyway.

Might be different considering his demand has seemed to be on the decline, and since he got tossed out of his next stop pretty fast. Certainly not definitive though. That's true, who knows with that guy. They need more than him at this point though and his personality in what seems like a locker room that is falling apart isn't a good idea. Imo
