Whoever wrote that knows nothing about the cap as he keeps citing the cap numbers for the Dolphins thinking that they would be the same for the Eagles. They wouldn't be. Plus, nothing is guaranteed for 2026 and 2027. We could dump him after the season at 0 cost other than the $2.2mm he cost on the 2025 cap.

Legitimately terrible analysis.

Such a reputable site. Shocking.

Imagine losing to Carson Wentz in 2025 this weekend?! That's it. Season over!! World ending...

It's like the Sixers fan who really believe Joel is looking good in pre-season.

I don't think that was allowed due to the trade on his initial release by the Texans.

That's what I thought, but there was confusion around that with not much clarity. Schefter said there's nothing stopping them from signing him but it was a radio hit so I don't know if he was just talking and even knew about the bylaws.

In any case, if that was true, then they they still couldn't sign him because he never had a 4th game on the "active/inactive" list since Ravens never elevated him.

PS. I'm gonna be jumping all over Howie for leaving Ringo and Jackson as your primary backups when they get roasted and toasted this game. I am totally anticipating a dismantling of both of these cats. Left this roster naked on losing both Slay and Rodgers.

I'd put the under over at 25 games played this year.

If he were to come here, it would definitely not be to replace him. He is probably better than CJGJ already.

Come on now 😂

But, he's been signed to another team, so that might supersede that, since he's not directly moving from the team that he'd been traded to at this point.

I'm hoping its 5 games or less. Let the young guys build chemistry. He isn't going to become a pass first guy who is in the dunker spot and just grabs boards.

He probably was hoping like everyone else that Ringo or Jackson were the answer. Having Mitchell shadow one and then have Ringo be serviceable would have been great

Losing Mitchell for however long just showed that the depth we have sucks. It was a sink or swim move by Howie. Unfortunately we're sinking at that position

No, that doesn't matter. The first line of the rule is "a traded player must have been on the active/inactive list of the assignee club, any club beyond the assignee club, or combination thereof, for a minimum of four regular season or postseason games.

Also any locker room problems seems to be just on the offense. If there even is any

But bringing in CJ and having him play safety could be nice short term but what happens if they ask him to do more or something else. Seems that's when the problems arise. Would be best to not create a locker room problem on defense that isn't there

Well there's always going to be injuries and he just played this one bad. Kinda shocking. Left too many youngens to step in without a good back up plan. To not sign Rodgers and give him the opportunity to earn a starting position is almost malpractice. Still young enough too and a lot of football to play with missed time he had. And signed CHEAP!!

Boggles my mind what would have instilled confidence that Adoree Jackson or Ringo (who barely started any games in a couple of years) would be an answer.

Vic can hide the CB2 if the DL is doing OK… but 2 corners and spotty play upfront against the run and pass. Oof - that’s a real chicken salad order.

I don't know man. He was a dawg for us. Brought some attitude. Makuba is too raw. Maybe he can bring in some leadership. Worth it if he can keep his trap shut.

Maybe he can bring in some leadership.

He can't. He needs leadership to keep him from getting penalties and mouthing off.

Worth it if he can keep his trap shut.

He can't. He won't.

Let it go. They've got rid of him twice, was a free agent, now available on the practice squad.

The leadership angle is crazy. I think people forgot he already got mad about Slay saying Blakenship could be a leader in the secondary and CJGJ's name wasn't mentioned.

That's an ex-leader putting it on record CJGJ is not a leader and doesn't bring leadership.

So offense is gonna look the same on Sunday confirmed.

Have to look up the stats but all signs point to us being the league leader in good meetings

I look forward to seeing him dominate in the UFL next spring.

He was in congress too, so Jon’s completely comfortable being full of crap.
