Agreed. If he isn't 100% he shouldn't be playing at this stage.

He's not going to be 100% all year.

That explains why i didn’t think he was that far downfield on replay and was questioning why the flag was thrown.

The RPO is a great way to take advantage of aggressive defenders and force conflict in decision making. The RPO was a natural progression from the spread offense (Tony Franklin's offense was one of the first). The spread offense really took off in the mid 2000's, actually a little earlier here in Texas at the HS level, Chad Morris was running RPOs out of a triple option in the late 90's at Elysian Fields but really made it successful when he started coaching Lake Travis and took it to Tulsa (his first HC stop in college). It was another way for smaller less athletic teams to gain an edge against stronger competition. In high school they are starting to call OL downfield regularly and the RPO is pretty much all you see here, other than that you may some slot-t and wing-t...old school misdirection and smash mouth football. I am personally a fan of the split back veer but there are only so many thing you can do out of it. Anyway...too nuch typing. Sorry to get off subject a bit.

Well he will probably be fired by next week.

Not that we would trade for him but I saw reports today that Breece Hall could get traded for a 5th and a 4th would be the most Jets could get. It just makes me sick to my stomach to think that Howie gave up a 5 and a 6 for Tank Bigbsy. Someone like Mark Andrews could really help this team and I seriously doubt he goes for more than a 5 if he gets traded. Howie had one of his worst offseasons by far.

Bigsby has to have a role on this offense. He wasn't some slouch down in Jacksonville. He's a very good RB. Granted the OL has been bad, but you'd think a creative OC could find some snaps for him.

If they had planned to make him their primary backup RB and try him at KR it would've been ok. As you said, he is a good RB. For some reason they think Dillon and Shipley are better than him. That has turned out to be a complete waste of two picks since he sucks at returning.

No argument from me. I think Dillon should be the odd man out. He's popped a few runs, but he has no future here. Bigsby could be a primary backup next year too.

If they could find a team who is desperate for RB help willing to give up a 5th for Tank I would cut my losses on the 6th and do that. I doubt it happens though. In the meantime, not using him at all at RB is just puzzling. The guy had 766 yards rushing last season in 16 games and averaged 4.6 YPC.

Eagles just don't utilize backup RB's anymore like they used to. Which makes sense given you have Barkley and also Hurts, but still. 6 games and only 12 carries for Dillon. 4 games for Shipley and only 4 carries. Bigsby is just the new Penny.

Nope, backup RB, WR3/WR4. They don't do a damn thing.

Kenny G had a role, but it’s tough to find a niche for these guys when the offense can’t stay on the field. Saquon can run the ball, but he really hasn’t shined in the passing aspects of playing RB. I think Ship has some juice here, but he keeps getting wrecked on KOs so not a consistent presence so far. I’d play Tank over Dillon, but it’s hard to get worked up over a bit part.

The perception on Bigsby will change when he actually gets involved in the offense. He’s not a kick returner so I don’t know why he’s being used there. He has good juice running the ball and should be getting every snap that Dillon has been getting. Not sure why that hasn’t been the case yet. I’m assuming learning curve.

The biggest issue is that we have so many three and outs no other RB even has the chance to get on the field, especially in the games where we run the ball 3 times in a half.

I'd rather they let Shipley get involved in the offense again. Once he got injured and came back they have seemingly punished him for getting injured. He made some plays in that Cowboys game.

An AJ trade is basically punting on this season and who knows for next season. We all know the stats and W/L record of the team when he's in the lineup versus out of it. I think he's the most important player on the offense. Unless if it gets to TO levels where he's basically demanding out, I don't know how you get rid of him. Hurts is not the type of QB that is going to elevate someone like Dotson or even DeVonta to match the production.

For a team that has a very strong two year window here to try to win another Super Bowl, I think trading AJ is one of the most idiotic things that they can do.

100% would be punting the season. However, Smith is a bonafide #1 who elevates Hurts play a lot. Ironically, Hurts to AJ is best when Hurts is on. Smith is the slump buster. WR 1 is criminally underrated and underused.

Craziest trade rumors in 30 years.

Bengals offense with Flacco looks better than ours. They had 3 dropped passes on this drive

There’s already been a lot of in-season trades around the league it feels. It’s a pretty weird year in that there are no real power house teams and only a few bottom dwellers. Feels like majority of the teams will try to be buyers with only a few sellers.

Then they might as well put him on IR if the best he can do is what we've seen so far.
