Eagles didn’t bother filling the 53rd spot on the roster this week. They are totally bringing Graham back.

I'd love him as the 5th guy in rotation on the practice squad or as Mr 53.

When is Nolan Smith expected back and would this have any effect on the cap or are all of BG's dead cap hits set in stone already?

It's not allowed to be Hurts fault. So it must be Brown

Nobody hates Eagles players quite like a eagles fans

Hurts is holding this offense back. It is what it is. Good OCs (Steichen/Moore) can tailor the offense to his strengths and bad OCs (Johnson, Patullo) cannot. It's pretty simple. Would 100% be in favor of giving McKee a shot. No reason the offense should be this bad with the talent they have, and Hurts needs to start taking the blame.

Hasn't gotten any better with throwing the ball over the middle or going through reads. If the first option isn't there, the play is dead.

It's asinine that some even want to trade Brown. We finally have stud receivers and people want to get rid of one

I only see one person in here openly hating Brown. But, hes not a troll anymore they say.

I'm gonna pull this one out of my arse. But it's for Asante Samuel Jr. 😯

Someone put a 1979 Eagles vs Bengals game on YouTube this week.

1st drive Jaws throws a pick right to a LB.

2nd drive Wally Henry fumbles on a kick return...

That's pretty much a foreshadowing of how that really talented team ended.

Hurts has always been a 1 read QB. If it's not there he puts his head down and runs

Brian Dawkins approves this post.

Sydney Brown plays 100mph, but most of the time with his eyes closed. Brian Dawkins would never approve of that.

Not everyone can be so acute.

A small request I have tomorrow, which shouldn’t be like moving mountains, is to have the offense start on average at around the 25-30 yard line after kickoffs. It’s been one of the most maddening issues this team has had this year because it’s the easiest one to fix.

Sorry for being obtuse, but what does this post have to do with Hurts and a new OC? No change has been made at QB. The only constant is the change to the OC of this Team, right?

In response to the complaints that the offense they run is catered to Hurts. They've selected their QB and paid him, so of course they're going to design and offense to his strengths and work around his weaknesses.

I really hope not. His exit was storybook. We don't need a Post-script.

Yeah, no other QB needs that. Hurts is the only QB in the league that needs a talented team around him to win. Stafford won so much in Detroit, Dak has won so much with the amazing defense. Heck, Mahomes was amazing in the last SB with that incredible offensive line.

Yeah, I hate that argument against Hurts because other QBs that are talented but the team isn't winning, people will say if only he had (fill in the blank) then they would be winning. O line, WRs, run game, better defense, whatever it is. Burrow has great WRs but his O line gets him killed. Even with Mahomes, people have said their offense doesn't perform as well with Travis Kelce losing a step and lack of WRs. Once he gets his WR back from injury...

Aikman, Montana, other QBs had great players and teams around them, legendary coaches. No one says about them "they needed everything to be great around them to win."

What if he helps solidify a turnaround and this team repeats Does that not make it even more storybook? You could tell he still had the desire to keep playing and it was the narrative part that had people convince him to retire. Don't want to live that regret of wishing you kept playing the game you love if you still had the ability when you did.

Or signing Eli Ricks again. Or is he already signed, it changes every other day. 😂

Turns out great teams win championships. But plenty of great teams don't win championships even with QBs many here would have taken over Hurts. But a big part of great teams winning championships are how the player at the most important position plays in those biggest of games and Jalen Hurts has proven that he is that elite championship caliber of player in those moments. Fans seem to hate that he plays his absolute best in those Championship level games and not in regular season games in September and October. That is exactly where I would like my QB to play at his peak level.

I ask this every time they do it. Why not fill the 53rd spot? I know you can't dress 53 on Sunday, but doesn't it help to have a full cupboard to choose from? No Gabe Hall?

Jenkins at least has the physical profile to be an ok blocker.

I don’t understand this team’s lack obsession with 6’2/3 240 lb TEs.

There are going to be stud WR available in the draft. There are going to be major needs on the DL, but if a WR falls in to their laps, the Eagles would be wise to snatch one up.

All the focus on Quinyon continually falling short of getting his first regular season INT last year (and I guess this year too), was that Slay didn't have a regular season int either last year? Surprising no corner did.

Ole Miss/UGA was a fantastic game. Gunner Stockton is not a starting NFL QB, but I think he'll be a fantastic backup for a long time. I'd be all over him in the middle to late rounds of the draft. Add the fact that he's the starting holder on FG/PAT and that could really change ST approach with potential fakes.

Dont need any of them with Brown and Smitty

In my minimal pre-season watching that I based off of the summer scouting video from NFL Draft Exchange, I was very unimpressed with this group. Goes along with the sentiment that it wasnt supposed to be a strong WR draft. But I have read that a whole ton of guys are stepping up this this season. So, there may be a bunch of guys emerging that werent even discussed in that video.

Definitely players stepping up. Chris Bell looks like an AJ Brown clone. Carnell Tate is pushing Jeremiah Smith as WR1 at OSU. Makai Lemon is BALLIN, we just don't see too many USC games. Elijah Sarratt is making Mendoza look like a Heisman QB, ETC. with the rest. I think it's a great group, and we aren't even talking about the crew at LSU (despite their losses).

I can't tell if you're being intentionally obtuse or if you've legitimately never seen Sydney Brown play. Launching himself recklessly is not a good thing. He has zero football IQ, his launching often misses and takes him completely out of the play. Sydney Brown sucks and he should be nothing more than a special teamer.
