We’ve solved absolutely zero problems. Out offense absolutely blows.

They are getting a little pressure on Wentz. If that continues, he's likely to make another mistake.

We may lose 15-14 if the D cant score more points for us.

We can only hope Wentz throws another

That also works with Dombrowski

Actual comment from me to friends yesterday.

"I hope Tocchet knows who his #1 goalie is now. Its kinda obvious but this is Topper and Patullo land now."

What makes it so frustrating is that they are teams with worse personnel than the Eagles, that look at least competent on offense. The Eagles can’t even look competent and they have better personnel than the majority of the league even with toth out there.

The "smart” people will tell you you need 5 studs on the OL to have a competent offense

8 yards of offense after the TD drive

Why is Campbell not on the field…

Was out there on that first down but looked like was playing edge.

I think Campbell has been great in coverage. But I wonder if they believe that Dean is a better run defender right now than Campbell. Because when Dean is out there, the run defense has looked better. Albeit small sample size

They can force mistakes for sure.

Looks like the old Buddy Ryan offensive philosophy... "Randall will make 3 big plays and we win the game." TD came on a broken play and AJ and Hurts finally being on the same page.

To be great he needs to play both…he’s great at neither position. He has the most potential at CB to have an Asante Samuel type career. WR, he’s nothing special. Sloppy technique, routes with decent hands. 30-40 catch a year with 3-400 yards.

Disagree. He doesnt need to play both sides. He won't last. He's better off concentrating on one side of the ball. If you think he's better off at CB then they should leave him there and not even bother at WR if he has sloppy technique and routes.

But we'll see what happens. He is a rookie and is young. He could always improve at either position but I feel he needs to stick with one.

They’re probing, it’ll come.

Carter and Davis playing well today. DeJean, Baun, Campbell, Mitchell (despite injury). The defense has star players at a lot of positions and a great coach. Just need to manage the liabilities at CB2 and the lack of pass rush.

Patullo needs to be fired at halftime

Two sides of the same hot take coin:

  1. The offense will tighten up and iron some things out to optimize itself.

  2. While this may not remain a bad offense, I’ve officially seen enough. This will not become a good offense this year.

Every week it's the same thing every time he has to make a quick decision. He just holds the ball and can't do anything.

Yup super frustrating to watch hurts hold the ball unless he has a perfect pocket and a wide open receiver

The 2 yard loss dump offs the running out of bounds for a loss of 1 instead of pushing the ball downfield or hitting the soft spot in the zone is so frustrating

A 2nd and 10 after an incomplete pass is better than a 2nd and 12 from a loss of 2 dumpoff to the RB in the flat

Not a surprise. Jergens goes out, Toth comes in, offense can't do anything

Remember when the O line dominated and Barkley ran all over the league?

Good times.

They need to get him

Tank Bigsby got 1 carry and picked up 10 yards and hasn't seen the field since. Smart.

Don’t need all five to be studs. They do need to be better. But the bigger issue is other teams with inferior talent find ways to utilize the talent they do have better. We find ways to not be productive with it
