Brown had a good game but Devonta is clearly the best WR on this team anyway. Brown can still do a lot because he is so big and physical but he is either dogging it regularly or clearly lost half a step of speed.

Defense needs some help on DL. BG and a trade. OL needs a backup interior lineman that can play

Look, the eagles still don’t look right but….

• They are 5-2

• They have had a ton of injuries

• They have an std called patullo

• Their f’ing schedule (short of the Giants but even they had to play them on a short week) has been brutal. I mean Jesus, Vikings away, Tampa away, KC away, Dallas as the opener and the Rams? Maybe the Eagles don’t look right every week because they are playing really really good teams (except the Giants)

Let’s go kick the Giants ass in revenge, ho into the bye at 6-2 and honestly, get healthy, maybe get one or two players in trades and go for two in a row. Every NFL team seems flawed this year, it’s going to come down to who gets hot and is playing best come playoffs. And the Eagles can be that team as we have seen.

Tbh they actually have some sort of a solution to get at least potentially better at edge. You’re going to get Nolan Smith back after the bye. And if you sign Brandon Graham and he’s decent that gives you at least some sort of upgrade to what we have now. They have no upgrade in sight at second corner. It’s either Adoree Jackson, who sucks. Or Ringo, who also sucks.

They HAVE to figure out the run game. You add dynamic Barkley runs to the mix and the offense looks much, much better.
