Each week since the 2nd half of the Rams game, I have been optimistic that the eagles passing offense has turned a corner.

Each week, they continue to give us about 1 half of decent football. A couple ok drives. A couple good drives.

The best thing I can say for you Hurts idiots is, I hope that some of those deep balls are the beginning on great things to come for the offense.

I am only CAUTIOUSLY optimistic because we keep seeing the same story repeating. Im tired of 1 half of football being played by Hurts. I hope he can give us the whole thing next week.

McKee would have gotten the running game going

Corners do have to cover guys on on island at times and Rodgers had a rough day even besides that. Still way better than our CB2's though.

He had a tough game and yes, he was left on an island a lot. But like you said, other than Mitchell - our CB2’s would have likely faired worse if they were put in his position.

McKee is so much better than Hurts he would have had the first ever "better than perfect QB rating" today.

Agreed

I’ve already seen them criticizing the "underthrow” on the AJ game winning pass

Much better than the gross overthrow of Devonta last week. He was so open, he just had to make sure he didn't throw it too far. That play was all about the completion, not a TD. Good enough throw.

Chargers with a tush push

I can be hard on him, especially after a few hours of stress, and I appreciate a few here checking me. I'd love for consistency and moving the chains and long drives even if they don't all end up points or big plays. The defense getting worn down has concerned me since the Bucs game.

Packers are grossly overrated

Said it all year. People went crazy over the Parsons move like 1 player was going to make them a contender. They werent close before that. He wasnt going to make the difference. Their offense is not championship caliber. QB stinks, and WRs all drop passes.

D was never that good either. Parsons wasnt going to suddenly make them an elite unit.

The hype was never deserved.

lol Denver

No way that Carson Strong couldn't have done what Hurts did today. He has a great RB, WRs, TE, offensive line, defense etc. Of course! Winning the Superbowl was a fluke, as was outplaying Mahomey twice. I think he was lucky.

With as good as his passing game would be, I dont doubt it. Teams would not be able to focus on Barkley the way they have been.

Cant throw picks if you refuse to throw the ball i guess

Carson Strong also would have had a better than perfect QB rating today. Any QB would be great in this offense.

Getting Smith back, and potentially adding BG would help our edge run defense significantly.

And that makes sense, honestly... Dickerson has been banged up since before game 1.

how did I miss this gem from last week…

Really believe it’s gonna be Kendall if Jurgens is out for a longer period of time. I think the reason why he wasn’t active today, it’s cause he can’t play multiple positions like they believe Toth can (he can play multiple badly). If jurgens is out for a prolong period of time I’m guessing it’s Kendall

It could be Dickerson.

You could even put Gardner Minshew in there. EZ peezy.

We are bottom 5 on 1st down. Its the running game.

Quinny done good today

He had more issues with Addison.

I was thinking when Shohei had 3 HRs and 6 innings no runs with 10Ks that you could just put Romano in there and he could do it with that payroll.

Where were the hits to the middle of the field?

Maybe but still have Toth at guard which stoutland may like for whatever reason.

I predicted a loss against the Giants last time. It was the easiest thing to see coming after that Denver game.

Im predicting a win against them next week.

DeJean balled out. But the Giants were extremely fortunate a hamstring injury for Mitchell meant a trash player like Lil'Jordan Humphrey could dominate. That will not be the case next week. DeJean and Mitchell healthy. Those trash WRs for the Giants will be locked down.

The eagles were tired out on defense. Denver began running with success in the 2nd half of their game, and I knew there was no way the eagles would be ready for the physical running of Skattebo 4 days after being run down by Denver.

The eagles just had a mini bye and came back refreshed. Yes, they were on the field more than they should have been. Thanks a lot Hurts.... BUT, it wasnt that physical of a game by Minnesota. The eagles looked a little tired at the end, but nothing like the wet toilet paper they looked like after the cumulative effects of two physical games within 4 days.

The eagles will feel fine after a regular, full week of rest. AND, Nakobe Dean will also provide help on run defense.

The Giants will face a different test this week. And while the eagles offense will likely still struggle (Thanks a lot Hurts), the D will keep them in this one, and the offense will likely do just enough again while Hurts is hailed as a potential MVP candidate for another mediocre game.

Eagles will win.

This might be the best game Jalen has played. Man was clutch and made several big throws. The biggest one probably being that 3rd down escape pressure and convert to AJ when we were in danger of going 3-and-out again.

Overall, we won the game because we won the two areas Siri preaches - turnover and explosive plays. The offense is still struggling to get drives going - too many 3 and out drives still which begins with the inconsistent / bad run blocking. Need to have that cleaned up
