I see a lot of glazing on Twitter with cmc and shanahan. They are essentially going to run him into the ground before the playoffs. Last year Barkley had 378 touches prior to the playoffs and finished with 482 after 20 games (regular season and playoffs). CMC is on a 17 game pace of 450 touches.

Ideally, you could not do the soundbars at all, but sometimes the layout of a room and/or wife dictates that. IMO, Sonos has the most user-friendly easy to integrate soundbars with a decent enough sub. We have that in our family room and it's not bad, syncs up nicely with the sonos amps delivering stuff to other rooms for whole home audio.

I got the 5.1.2 stystem by hisense last year for like $130 pre-black Friday.

Yesterday morning, the thing has power, but wont turn on. TV says no input.

I may just need an HDMI cable. Dont know what could have happened to that. But I started looking at other options just in case. It does look like these up firing systems are already dieing off.

I'll remain convinced its better even if it was barely noticeable. Especially with my x.x.2 system instead of a x.x.4 system. Obviously not as good, but I'd like to keep having those speakers.

Was watching a horror movie last night and it was not nearly the same as when i watched that same movie the night before. The jump scares weren't there. So much less heart pounding suspense...

I gotta figure something out.

My real questionn though, is how are so many sound bars without up firing speakers claiming to be atmos sound bars? Im seeing that a lot.

Another offseason move that has backfired is giving Jurgens the bag with a back injury. I was fine with letting Jurgens play out the season and see what happens with his health. Howie just missed everywhere this offseason.

He's been good in pass protection, but I've read quite a few times that he isn't opening holes. We agree Dickerson and Jurgens. It wouldn't make them better, but at least it would improve one spot because we also agree Steen is the 5th OL.

I see improving the OL the fix for quite a few issues. If they can start running behind a better guard who can push the line back (while the others hopefully get healthy) it could save the defense 10-20 snaps a game. With their schedule and the length of the season that could really benefit them.

Also, that guard could let them move Steen to RG if Dickerson can't get his crap together. Maybe there aren't any options out there, but that's 1 on my list.

There was a rep Q had on Addison that was a perfect showcase of the defensive scheme. Addison had a nice chunk completion, yesterday was a game of don’t get beat deep. Q played to not get beat on a double move (drifted and turned incase he needed to bail in trail) or the inside move (to allow the S to drift over). Ceding the comeback.

Consistency wise, I’d argue steen has been the best. Johnson had the injury bug bite him early…he’s seemed to have rebounded the past 2 weeks though and playing near his normal level. Steen almost gets a pass at times because of his snap count responsibility…which sucks because of how late plays are getting in and finally set that half the time he’s scrambling to get set and his eyes up before the snap.

The more I think about it, I really think they do nothing at the deadline (assuming BG comes back). Nolan and BG being added to Hunt/Uche/Ojulari/Johnson is 6 bodies at edge, and I'm not sure who they add that can really add value. The only one I think that makes sense at edge is Chubb -- low cost (draft capital and cap) and played for Vic before. Given what Vic asks of his edge players (drop into coverage, be versatile), I don't think you can bring in just anyone. At CB, I don't know who out there could come in and learn a complicated system in time. You see Coop and Q seamlessly trading off coverage, and that's a big ask of a midseason acquisition. I think they try and get Bennett to take the job.

Maybe the second half was just that bad for me that i forgot…i stand corrected. They haven’t even managed to suck for an entire game.

The impact of a new OC and the loss of talent on D were expected and are proving to be true. The performance of the OL wasn't expected to decline this much, if at all. But injury regression was another concern.

If you recall, Andy had this team playing it's best in November and December. Same for 2024.

You see the team's capacity for greatness often during games. Get the OL working and a more consistent pass rush. We'll be fine.

Definitely wasn't expecting the Oline to be like this

But not many Olines have a 2k rusher the previous year going to the SB

Thank you....been posting the same thing.......I remember having to listen to games on the radio...yes radio back in the 80's when games were blacked out due to not having sell outs. Take it out further....Since 2000, the Eagles have a ,596 winning percentage, 4th behind the Patriots, Steelers and Packers. Since 2000, they have played in 35 playoff games, 2nd to the Patriots. 20 playoff wins since 2000, 2nd to the Patriots. Oh and to repeat.....2 Super Bowl wins and 3 visits (the 3rd visit should have also been a win) in the last 7 years.

It's ok to want more, but I find...without gratitude for what you have....one will never be happy.

Nothing on Defense might be the move but they desperately need OL help. The starters are banged up and the backups not cutting it.

He had misses, but I don't think that was one of them. I still have no problem with them signing him he'll be fine. If they were worried about him they wouldn't have signed him.

He's had it out for Howie ever since Milton signed in NE. Now that Ojomo is producing more than Milt did last year, he needs to attack everything Howie has done.

The one legit criticism for Howie and the coaching staff was misplaced confidence in Ringo. But letting Milton, Sweat, Slay and Becton walk was fine as the replacements have been adequate and much more cost effective. And picking up JD's 5th year option is looking like a genius call. CB2 was the big whiff - I would have signed Rodgers (yeah, we smoked him yesterday) in the Adoree role, and reports are we tried but Rodgers disputed that.
